Yep. As Japanese editors say "it's like the lottery, you don't know in advance if it will sell or what will sell". Over sleeping takahashi has the same problem (apparently) on Jump+. Readers wanted romcom and got fights for that one. They're telling the author that a lot of readers might stop reading it because it changed genres (in the comments section).

I often read comments in Japanese because it's very interesting. Most of them don't just say "it's boring/interesting" but analyze why they don't like it. Some of them are real plot doctors and it's very useful to make progress to get these comments to understand why people like a manga or not.

Happy to see Yowayowa getting a anime
And yes, it's not looking good for GALAXias, but it's not a complete disaster, there could still be an increase in sales in the next volume, who knows, for me it always surprises me to see how Ranger Reject sells so low compared to the author's previous work, I keep thinking If in a future project he will return to a more standard rom-com manga
