I think an ongoing anime counts as a "special event." Besides, it's much more popular than As the Gods Will, sells more, and is basically one of the magazine flagships by now.

One was fine, but it have 2 covers in one month(and pretty sure in future) and it had many cover before anime. not saying it don't deserve but why they can't give cover for another series for special event, even it much less popular.

Well it might be my opinion since I like Kamisama no Iutoori Ni more than Nanatsu no Taizai.

Look like Rengoku no Karma getting good reception. I find many people praise it on twitter and even hope for anime.

The feels would be too strong, but if there is a manga that deserves an anime then Koe no Katachi is the one.
