I wonder how quickly they'll try and get a Cuckoo anime in production, I can't complain as long as the staff is good.

Wait Sachi is the most popular? I admittedly haven't really been following much fan discussion of the series but she's definitely my least favorite... Hiro best girl.

Tokyo Revengers is not going down. Shoseki overestimates Tokyo Revengers sales, so when it stays in Oricon Weekly List longer it sales looks lower. But in reality the opposite is truth. Disrepancy between Oricon and Shoseki is the reason why I am posting monthly sales in the first place (since monthly sales only based on shoseki monthly list).

Why are monthly numbers more unreliable than weekly ones? You'd think they'd have more information after a month...

Don't know if that's the case, but I assume one of the reasons is because with higher numbers, the difference between each shoseki estimate is higher, so it's not going to be as accurate. More or less the same logic as the 30-50 part on shoseki weekly being less reliable than the others.

The list itself is as reliable as the weekly one. Depending on circumstances, one could offer more information than other. The problem is the way I estimate sales. I said before, but I assume the difference in sales between each rank is same. That is the easiest way to calculate, but not the most reliable way. In fact, that kind of distribution is very unlikely. When the difference between known sales is higher, the chance of error is also higher. And the difference between known estimates can be very high in shoseki monthly lists. For example:

Kanojo, Okarishimasu: v14 - 2020/03 - #60 - 45000 - 89600 ( 2020/03 )
Kanojo, Okarishimasu: v15 - 2020/06 - #48 - 70700 - 153600 ( 2020/06 )
According to my estimates first month sales for v15 is lower than v14, which is not logical and probably not the case.

Oh interesting preview, art looks really good, wonder if it will have the same ecchi/erotic stuff that Real Account had, that series had some lewd/hardcore stuff even for Shonen Magazine standards.
