yikes, rip any hype I had. It‘s way less stiffer and better art direction than ex-arm but none of the designs match the manga artstyle and why go CGI smh. It looks like RWBY S1

Well being better than Ex-arm doesn't say much.
And usually a studio goes to CGI because it is much cheaper

Character design of Cuckoo anime could be a lot better, running away from Miki's art already took out a bit of identity, it looks just like any other generic anime design.

I agree, a big part of the series’ charm are both the art and the design of the characters. Now they look like generic cute anime boy and girl.
I hope the rest of the characters don’t share the same fate but I'm not hopeful

For me, yes, in the tweet Shizumu shows us that he did not even show the entire cast of characters for his story, I think the story was canceled.

Cuckoo anime staff looks quite good but still expected bit better tbf. Telsa Notes situation is weird...I've never heard of that studio before & yikes that PV.

Sadly no Shangri but hopefully Slime will win...it was nominated last year iirc. Frieren is a beast going for all the awards LOL.
