-I'm really surprised that the Makai has seemingly managed to outperform Iruma Week one. Those numbers must be real close, or the one day where Mai ranked higher than Iruma was a big one. Iruma ranking lower than Dr. Stone is also suprising, as I thought it would do better. I guess we'll have to wait for Oricon to see just how big the sales are. Like, I know Makai was ranking a lot higher in the dailies as opposed to its first volume this week, but goddamn. I really do not know how to feel about this. I was worried that Makai would drop, as spinoffs normally do, and that may be the case long-term, but as of right now... fuck.
-Harigane sold quite a bit less for only having 1 day less than last time. We'll have to see what future weeks bring on that one.
-SHY is stable...I think. Maybe even declining a little. It has its fans, and I think it's already proven itself to be safe, but I wish that it actually, ya know, grew.
-Ippon, once Again fails to make the weekly chart. So did Do Chokkyuu, which rather sucks, after it finally managed to find another home to continue in. And I think Ohime-sama's the first real flop I've tracked that's labeled as being part of MangaCross's lineup. BokuYaba's a hit, and Kawaii Kouhai at least managed to find some success (though we'll have to wait till November to see if it can hold it).
-Is the BokuYaba award boost beginning to fade? I hope not, since it'll be a while before we get to take a look at how much the series has grown. Though at the rate we're going, we might get 2 volumes in 2021.
-I need to check past volumes of YowaPedal to see if the live action movie provided any significant boost for the franchise. As for BEASTARS, it looks like 20's gonna be one of the leggier volumes, like Volume 18 was. If it can last for 2 more weeks on Shoseki, then I think it'll be able to match the trajectory of previous volumes (slightly downwards).

Theyre not even VTubers, they’re a goddamn gaming channel. From what I see, they play Minecraft a lot. XD The channel has over 750k subs on YouTube alone, so you have Iruma fans and fans of the channel buying the volumes.

It’s just funny that a mere spin-off/collab series is currently outselling the entire fucking magazine. Which includes the thing it’s being spun-off from. Like, I’m pretty sure Makai 2 pulled in more sales FW than the latest Beastars and Yowamushi did first month. XD

it has an "important announcement" next week and does seem to be in end game so I wouldn't be surprised but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if another arc starts and it continues like normal.

Yeah, it definitely seems like it's in its end-game for sure, but ending in 3 chapters seems pretty abrupt. I'm hoping its just about the anime and that the manga will continue on long enough to tie up a few more loose ends
