Whelp, Kaguya is over and was trending #2 or 3 worldwide for a bit. I wonder if it'll get a third season. I say it's overhyped, but I hope it gets more seasons. Lots of people are happy.

How popular IS Kaguya, exactly? Both in Japan and overseas?

Can't speak for Japan but it is VERY popular in America, if cons hadn't all been cancelled it would've been one of those shows you couldn't escape from at artist alley's for a second year in a row, even if we don't get a 3rd season next year I can image it will retain that status when cons start returning.

Got antsy, so I did estimates for 100 Kanojo's sales based on Shoseki rankings:

100 Kanojo Volume 1
W1: 4,763 copies (3 days)
W2: 4,423 copies
TOTAL: 9,186 copies

100 Kanojo Volume 2
W1: 6,137 copies (3 days)
W2: 4,536 copies
TOTAL: 10,673 copies

I want to measure this up against Kubo-san and Kowloon Generic Romance, as well as other Young Jump newbies, but honestly the fact that the series is experiencing growth is a very good sign IMO. Hopefully it can keep this momentum up! I want this to stick around.
