What are the costs involved in getting Manga\Anime translated?

Hi All,

I'm a huge CT fan.

Originally watched it in Iran when I was young,

I'm now 25 and living in Sydney Australia.

As many of you english speaking fans are already aware, finding english subs for our favourite Anime is very difficult.

Infusion started a few years ago on "road to 2002", the subs were really good and it looked promising, until they stopped at ep 10.

Currently captainmajed.com is doing"road to 2002" again(I've read they have got some of the names wrong, but hey beggers can't be choosers) and frenchi subs is doing the original anime series, which is Wonderfull.

I know how disappointed I was a few years ago when infusion stopped,
So I'm going to try and think of a backup plan incase any of the new fansub groups stop, or if I get impatient and want the eps translated quicker.

Has anyone ever inquired into getting Manga or Anime(my main concern is with Anime) professionally translated?

I just want to get a rough idea on costs involved.
