You scored big points with the QotD soundtrack, both Adema albums, Arctic Monkeys, the Deftones, Muse, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Porcupine Tree and Tool, mate.

Mine is organised per artist, not album, so it'll be less clear to see whether i have 5 songs or 5 cd's of a certain artist, but one screenshot coming up, i'll mark where i have more and less of i guess...

( oh, and can you please email or upload Chester Bennington vs Julien-K's "Morning After Remix" from the Underworld Evolution soundtrack? i hate waiting for the full album and the original version... it's g-damnit finished but will only be released summer '07... Let's see... I go folder-happy in my music organization, but I still have a lot of music (anywhere between 500MB and 2GB) lurking in 'root' folders. I'll stitch together some screenshots of the folder structure...

Just don't wanna to make a folder for every band/singer of which I have only 1-11 songs.

5.37 GB has 1,917 files, and 117 folders, from gogo, r&b, rap, Baltimore music, oldies, and it goes on. its the only thing that keeps my sanity sometimes. lol. i love it

this question is to Khal and yFantgirl. why dont you use your own languages for folder naming? is that a habbit? I dont mean the name of the groups. you cant translate them to a language but what about "random music" or "linkin park+related" for example. it seems very interesting for me because I believe that people tend to use their native languages in stuations like this. at least I dont name my folders in english.

Actually it's a No Man's Land, so I don't dare open it anymore. My Anime folder is perfectly sorted out, as is my Manga folder, but my Music folder is (after my ****** folder >_>) the biggest mess EVER. Only animes OSTs and Metal <_<

Anyway, in response to Siegfried's question, everything technologie-related should remain english, dutch names just sound... geeky and corny as hell. >_<
I try to get stuff like windows, msn, firefox etcetera in english too if i get the chance... though i must admit, the version of XP on this pc is actually dutch, because i could easily get it from my father's legal copy, and didn't want to spend money on a further english version, or download one, too lazy

Hmmm, i reorganised my music folder a while ago, i'll go take a new screenshot to show it off... ( This job took me about a week, sorting by album, searching for the appropriate artwork, renaming every single file to a new format i desired... unlike most of you, i really enjoy doing stuff like that oh! and i wiki'd up my knowledge of every band i had more than 5 songs of too, it's really fascinating... >.> )

My "CDs" folder: includes full CDs, i've also got a rather large map with loose songs, and one with anime music ( except OSTs, which are included in this one ), but i'll take a screenshot of those later... And yes, this is a connected version of two screenshots, because i couldn't get it on a single page
