Discussion What is your most favorite arc? SPOILER? Watch out

Okay a question - which is obvious

Another thing be sure to use spoilers for none manga readers (or maybe none manga readers can avoid this topic better). We have all kind of little arcs and huge arcs: like the martel arc, the rewinding town arc, etc... Since the anime had few, maybe none manga readers should try to avoid this

So I wanna know what is your favorite arc atm... and why.

My fav arc is...hm..difficult question, Ihave two.

I love the rewinding town arc as well as the current one.
I love Rhode as well as Tiki, Jasdebi and the touching moments in the Ark arc.
Waha~~~ dunno what to choose. ;_;

Well, my opinion is that all arcs are and were quiet good. But I prefer the rewinding town arc before the crowley arc closely followed by that current arc.

Why? Rewinding arc had a bit everything of the first. The first noah figthing, the first activated innocence fighting the noah along with excorsist, the first time we knew more about noah,...
Crolwey arc is placed second because of the story itself was quite funny imo: allen, rabi and crowley were awesome and some scenes were really

it had me think that...
1. an exorcist were to go against another exorcist
2. a lvl 2 akuma which has the desires of a human
3. humor always gets me (i will never forget the flashback of rosalind *looks at a venus flytrap*)

2nd would be the asia arc (suman's story is included is it?)

-grief, hope, desire, angst...so many emotions brought out splendidly~

Yeah that is one I forgot too, it was a good arc too. Maybe I will place this on a third or fourth place. I think that one was emotional

Ark arc

i think that this is my favorite one so far because it has the most exciting battles there and some Allen/Lenalee moments =)

second would be crowley arc, i find that there's a lot of funny moments in this arc ^^

Though question. All the arcs were pretty good.

I'd have to say the Rewinding Town arc because it got me into the series (watched the anime first) and the Ark arc because of the battles.

I liked the very beginning. ^_^ Definitely a great start to the manga. I also liked small scenes here and there - Allen's reunion with everyone in Edo, the various conversations on Anita's boat before Eshi attacked, and the end of the Ark arc to Lulu's appearance (with all that stuff about suspecting Allen).

Volume 6 was amazing, though. Very emotional. <3

Hmmm... i think i would have to say the arc where Allen looses his innocence and gets it back, but i also like the Ark arc.
So much Allen growth as a character and in his weapon~

oh its soo hard to choos, because there are lots of different things that happen, that make me like the arks.
well the Ark acr was wicked with all the fighting and the "loss" of main characters and the ending was soo cool with 14ths secret room, pluss when allen has debt mentiond while fighting jasdebi was great >.< and rhode kissing allenXD
the times when allen gets any inocence upgrade such as the "doll" arc or the "asia" one.
kory arc was realy nice with all the emotion and also allens cursed eye "evolving"

But i think the current arc is the best, but that could just be the suspense for having to wait for the next chapter to come out every week

meh, in my opinion the whole manga is great"

Ark arc best... I started reading the manga from that time when Allen was battling Tyki, cause I couldn't wait for the next episode (watched the anime first), so I started reading and though I was kind of confused, that arc really made my heart pound.. So. Yeah. Ark arc.. ^^

And yes, I agree with luna_wolf that the whole manga is great!! ^^

i say the ark arc mainley for reasons already stated that they was some really cool battles an allen and lenalee moments

I love all the stories in D Gray Man so it's really tough to choose like most of you.
Most favourite->Ark arc(too epic and awesome->not just the battle,the art,emotion,mysteries) This arc also help speed up the story line IMO cause the exorcist searches for Innocence will be a lot more faster than usual,which makes Noah Ark arc meaningful instead of just battle only.
->HQ under siege arc(include level 4) also my no. 1. I'm gonna give Hoshino sensei credit for her to be dare and brave to kill lots of people in this arc,as well as introduced a level 4.

I like the whole manga, but my favorite parts start from when Cross Marian joined the battle in the Ark arc, and the HQ attack by LuluBill, these are chapters from (127-156). and also Like the Ghost of Martell (Lala's arc), just a small arc(chapters 9-16) but I like it.

(Note: Though we didn't see it yet, but I also think the next arc about the major mission in Istanbul+Kanda's past will be awesome)...

General Cross fighting against Tyki,
- since Cross finally made his enterance and show how awesome he really is...

Crowley and Eliade
- It shows that not all Akuma desire to be weapons, like Eliade who wanted to love Crowley...

THe Ghost of Martel
- that One was the most touching one, i find, cause Lala and the other dude could not be together...and it showed how painful it was to be a Exorcist...

The Fallen One
- That where u acutally see the dark side of an Innocences...Suman Dark stills scares me into thinking Allen might become that...

The Saint Fell Into Darkness
- When Lenalee actually plans to scarfice her life just to protect the ship...pretty sad...


Kanda Vs Skin Bolic
- Pretty awesome match...

1 of the very first arcs Rewindtown!!! It rules. Lots of eye openers given in that arc incl. the war and how its developing is layed out by Road there.

My favorite arc is the Ark arc. I love it because:

1. Their outfit become MUCH cooler
2. We get to see Level 3
3. Linlee's Innocence evolves
4. Allen gets his true form of Innocence
5. We learn about the Noahs
6. We learn the connection between Allen and Erl Millenium
7. Allen plays the piano
8. We get see General Cross fight (He kick ass!)
