Discussion What Manga would you like to see scanlated?

Hi guys. My first post here... but I'm no stranger to anime and manga forums. Anyway...


What manga would any of you like to see scanlated that isn't already? Unlicensed manga of course.

I'd just like to see what manga is out there that isn't getting any attention by any sort of group. It doesn't matter which genre... shonen, shoujo, even *gasp* shonen-ai. Anyway, thanks for posting and letting me know.

Dokaben o.o It's a classic Japanese manga about baseball. I'm sure 99% of Japanese citizens know about it, but unfortunately probably only 1% of English readers know about it.

Hanada Shonen-shi
Piano no Mori, 1 volume was done, but the Manga Editors (reimu) are pretty much dead
both great seinen by the same author, Makoto Isshiki

and I also need more stuff by Minoru Furuya, another excellent seinen mangaka (who did Ping Pong Club, but moved on to more serious stuff)
Himizu v2-4 (apox on snoopycool for dropping this)
Boku to Issho

Sorry, but that was licensed a while ago and all three volumes of it have been released by TokyoPop (this is of course still going by the fact that the OP said unlicensed manga series only).

Of course, I'm also interested in it and would like to see the remaining two volumes of them scanned.

Yeah, I personally can't wait till KEFI gets out some Mx0. Probably the one I'm interested in the most, as it doesn't seem to be like any other manga in Jump.

oh, my old time manga Dragon Quest - Dai's adventure... i almost forgotten about it.. but now they're starting the Edited Manga from the beginning.. i'm so happy... indonesia's version had very poor translation i don't even understand what they're talking about...

I'd like to see "Sasuke" an old ninja manga scanlated...
I'd like to see it all raw first though.... **goes back and reads the first two volumes for the millionth time **
and densha otoko (train man?) would be cool scanlated as well...

If you're willing to translate the last volume of the version we were doing (by Hara Hidenori), we can continue it o.o I know it's licensed already, but since we're doing underground for Reborn anyway (at least until v1 comes out), so might as well ~.~

I vote for "Teyande Baby" a manga about a mafioso who dies while bathing in a bath house. At the exact moment the mafioso dies, a woman gives birth in the female-only bath area. The mafioso's soul enters the newborn and hilarity ensues!

I'm serious. This is a real manga. It is excellent. I unfortunately do not have it with me in America to scan though (that and I'm more of a translator guy than a scanning guy).

If anyone finds raws of it, I will happily translate it. I repeat, it is excellent.

Anyone hear of Shingurui? My cousin just sent me volume one from Japan... and it's not licensed. Really violent too. I'm thinking of getting someone to scanlate it. I need to get the rest of the volumes though.

Reinouryokusha Odagiri Kyouko no Uso(the Lie of the Clairvoyant Odagiri Kyoko; or Odakyo) , it was written by Kaitani Shinobu who is working on Liar Game now so it has to be a good series.

Major for one. Everytime as scan team picks it up, troubles arise to keep them for getting anywhere with it.

Also, Suicide Island. Only 5 chapters were ever scanned and it really seemed like it could go interesting places.
