Your favorite video game category??

Hello you fellow gamers ^^

I would like to know what games cathegory you like most.
My favorites are Role-Playing, Strategy and Action (in my like most order)

So what do you like most??

I said adventure and RPG. Those are pretty much the only games I lay (Final Fantasy, .hack, xenosaga, kingdom hearts, etc) I enjoy them because when you play there's usually this intense storyline that goes along with the game, and it makes it so much more interesting. especially with games like FF.

I love plauing any kind of RPG's but I have been known to get into the occasional puzzle solving games like the Myst series. Of course that never lasts long since I get frustrated at getting stuck someplace and go back to my ol RPG's. <3

RPG's, action, and the seemingly now extinct side scrollers... oh well.

RPGs and Tactical RPGs. When I buy a game, I want to play at least for 100 hours on it and nothing beats RPGs for that

RPG like Neverwinter Nights, never played Final Fantasy, and RTS (Real Time Strategy) as Warcraft, Stracraft, etc.
Someone should add RTS in the poll.

Sorry, I didn't explain myself clearly: I don't get which you mean with <strategy> game. I always thought RTS was a game category clearly separeted by the others, so I don't know which games go in the category <strategy>.

But it seems that diffrent Fire Emblem have diffrent category

For exampel: Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones and Fire Emblem: Seima no Kouseki is under RPG

And Fire Emblem, Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi and Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken is under Strategy

Strange is it not ??

Just different gameplay? It's kinda like when Final Fantasy went to the Gameboy it turned into more of an adventure game than a RPG. I'd recommend just keeping them specific instead of one entire franchise.
