I've been away since Feb, and having a great time. So far I've (barely) managed to keep up with psyren and Ao No Exorcist, but it's wearing me down. Instead of exploring Cambodia or Vietnam, I'm sitting in front of a computer screen for hours on end...

So, I've decided to spend the little time that I have in each place no longer translating. For psyren, it wasn't that big a decision; considering I'm 2 chapters behind and my trans haven't been scanalated for a long time. ^^;

But I thought I should make it official. I won't be doing psyren or any other project I currently have on hold until I come home on October 2nd. ANE is a special case, so if the fans don't mind being patient and going back to the once-a-month release, then I can probably manage to do that.

If I find myself with some spare time, I'll probably do a chapter or two, but that's not likely...

Kiriku is the sacred sign or emblem of both Senju Kanzeon Bosatsu (a thousand-armed form of the Bodhisatva Kanzeon or 'Kannon') and Amida Butsu - the Buddha Amida - (or Amida Nyorai as he is called in Mikkyo Buddhist traditions), and is regarded as itself possessing the divine grace of both of these Buddhist Deities.　Kiriku is essentially perceived as a single-character depiction of the nembutsu: the sacred mantra of Amida: "Namu Amida Butsu", and as such invokes the merit associated with the fukushu or recital/repitition of that mantra, thus bringing Spiritual Peace of Mind ('Spiritual Composure') to the individual reciting the mantra, or to any other being to whom the reciter chooses to 'transfer' this merit.

Plus, when I was able to download Japanese raws on MH, I never did except to translate into English. My natural language is English- my Japanese isn't good enough for me to do nothing but read raws all the time. I always download and read the English Scans. So that's why I don't buy Shonen Jump while I'm in Japan, especially since I don't even read the manga in shounen Jump.

Temporarily Quitting Translating ^^;

Hey guys! ^^

I don't know how many people will read this, but I'll post links in my trans anyway. :3

Basically, from the 20th of Feb until 20th of May, I'll be living in Japan. This means I don't think I'll be able to continue translating the majority of my projects for the next three months.

Although I did start translating in 2008 while living in Japan, back then I was living with friends and had a stable internet connection. This time I'll be travelling all over the country for the first month or so, then WWOOFing for the rest of the time. (WWOOFing = Worldwide Working Opportunities on Organic Farms... basically, I'm too poor to pay rent so I'mma working for my food and board. And I think it'll be a cool experience! XD)
So while I am trying to find a place to work at that does has internet, it may not be an option. Plus, after working hard for my keep on a farm for many hours each day, I doubt I'll have to energy to spend another four translating. ^^

So, what does this mean for the stuff I do? Well, I'll be "dropping" everything I currently do apart from Psyren, Ao No Exorcist, and Defence Devil.

These 3 series I will try to do to the best of my ability while I'm away, but there will be periods of time where I'll be unable to translate them from lack of internet/time.
For example, I won't be able to translate from March 17th - 25th, because during that week I will be travelling through Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Nara.

During these periods of absence, I will inform the scanalation teams so they can (hopefully) arrange another translator while I'm gone! :3
If they can't, I ask you to please be patient, and I will catch up on all the chapters when I can.

After I return, from June 10th - August 24th, I'll be travelling around South East Asia by myself, and will be unable to translate for those 10 weeks. ^^;
Although most of the hostels I'm staying at have internet, I've been working hard and saving up for a year so I can travel, so I really want to make the most of it. \o/
