今は「神無月」って言うのよ Right now, it’s “Kannazuki.*” T/N: The traditional name for the tenth month in the traditional Japanese calendar. Literally means “The month without Gods.” 日本の神様はみーんな出雲へ帰っちゃってるの All the Japanese Gods have returned to Izumo*. T/N: It is said that in this month, all Gods leave their shrines and gather at Izumo, one of the most ancient and important Shinto shrines in Japan.
あー Chiyoko: Oh, あんだ「０とち０ろ」？ What? “* and Chi*ro?*” T/N: For those who aren’t familiar with the Japanese name, this is a reference to “Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi,” or “Spirited Away,” a famous anime movie directed by Miyazaki Hayao.
