To all those who have somehow happened to come across me or my translations: Hi there!
I'm a rather avid fan of translating and manga in general, though I still have a long, long way to go before I am translating much more efficiently. In the meantime, here are my rules:
1. Unless explicitly stated otherwise
, any group is free to use my translations for whatever purpose they choose. However, you must remember to credit me and whomever I've credited in my submissions.
2. I use italics
and CAPITALS for emphasis. If you see that, use it. I didn't put that there to make myself happy; so please, have some consideration and do it as I've written it.
3. There are times when I have not proofread everything or had someone proofread just yet. There will be a note stating this.
If you want to ignore my note and take it, then I suggest you have someone from your own group proofread it. I will not have my translations be a part of a bad quality scanlation group.
4. Unless it's a blatantly obvious typo, change nothing
. Absolutely nothing. For those that don't understand what I mean by this, I am referring to whichever scanlation group's proofreader randomly adding flowery language to make it more enticing, or deleting words, or declaring certain sentences repetitive or unnecessary. Get my permission.
Don't change it as you will, but make sure the change is authorized by me. The more flowery language you add, the less accurate of a translation it will become.
5. Lastly, as I translate via counting the bubbles, there will never be missing text unless I just somehow missed it. Every bubble that has text in the raw will have a translated version in my translations. If you can't find a certain part, note me
. If I've forgotten something somewhere, note me
. If you have a random piece of text flying around and can't figure out where it goes, note me
. Getting the picture here?
Thanks for reading!
