Mais Genshiken de quoi ça parle ? Ce manga raconte la vie ordinaire de Sasahara, Kôsaka, Madaramé, Tanaka et Kugayama, un groupe d'Otaku perturbé par l'arrivée de Saki, une fille à fort caractère et qui est aussi la petite amie de Kôsaka. Et bien entendu elle déteste les Otaku. But Genshiken, what is it ? This manga talks about the ordinary life of Sasahara, Kôsaka, Madaramé, Tanaka and Kugayama, a whle bunch of Otaku disturbed by tha arrival of Saki, a girl with strong personnality and is also Kôsaka's girlfriend. And she hates Otaku of course.
Prépublié dans le Monthly Afternoon, ce manga de Kio Shimoku peint avec beaucoup d'humour le petit monde des Otaku à travers sa gallerie de personnages stéréotypés : Sasahara l'Otaku qui ne s'assumes pas, Madaramé l'Otaking par excellence, Tanaka le fou de cosplay et de maquettes, Kugayama l'introverti et Kôsaka le fondu de jeux vidéos. Tous se rejoignent dans leur club, le fameux Genshiken, qui est une abbréviation pour, en français, Groupe d'Etude de la Culture Visuelle Moderne. Club que Saki aimerait bien passer au lance-flammes. Serialized in the Monthly Atfernoon, the Kio Shikomu's manga depict with tons of humor the world of Otaku through his stereotypical characters : Sasahara the unassume Otaku, Madaramé the great Otaking, Tanaka who love Cosplay and modellism, Kugayama the introverted and Kôsaka the video games nerd. All are gathering in their club, the famous Genshiken of the title. Genshiken wich means, in english, the Society for the Studdy of Modern Visual Culture. A place that Saki dreams to destroy with a flamethrower.
J'ai choisit de faire le chapitre 24 car il correspond à peu près à ce qui se passe juste après la fin de l'animeet aussi parce que c'est dans ce chapitre qu'apparaît un nouveau personnage qui va encore mettre le souk dans le club^^. I choose to do the chapter 24 because it follow the story just after the end of the anime series and also because in this chapter appears an new character which is going to put the club in an absolute chaos again ^^.

COMIFES : déformation de Comiket (Comic Market). C'est le festival des Otaku où l'on peut acheter des dôjin, des produits dérivés ou faire du cosplay.
COSPLAY : abbréviation de Costume Playing. Art de se déguiser en l'un de ses personnages favoris.
DÔJIN : fanzine, pas forcémment érotique.
FEMME BANDEE : les femmes bandées/blessées sont un des fantasmes masculins japonais.
KASUKABE-SAN : le nom de famille de Saki s'écrit avec le Kanji signifiant "printemps".
SEMPAÏ : se dit de quelqu'un qui vous est supérieur dans un domaine ou une fillière. Utilisé surtout en milieu scolaire.
YAOI : histoires mettant en scène des relations homosexuelles entre hommes. Dessinés par des femmes pour des femmes.
