This story's awesome considering how short it is. Raiku's a master of the deep and subtle meaning with characters reacting to it.

At school there was hope, there. [This line is supposed to have a double meaning based on the comma. The first being "there's hope but, he was there." the second means "hope was there." So I wrote it this way so the reading with the comma is more of a "okay, that's all" to give it the negative tone.]

Kids: *A "ten"(、) and a "maru"(。). *Note: These are the Japanese equivalents of a comma and period, respectively. And yes, this is VERY IMPORTANT. FUCKING MEMORIZE IT.
