We should feel trolled, not just from this sudden ending but from the entire series. The manga was good, almost amazing in the first 50 chapters or so. Moka was a good character and her interaction with Take and their life while they become champions as FELLOW boxers would was really promising.
Then the author began to troll the fandom.
First moka's retina detachment. How could have been the story interesting if there was a parallel career between the two of them? How would have been the story more interesting if she was on the same level of isamu? First you make people fantasize on such original subject and then you reduce her to a fat ass cheerleader, clearly incapable to stand on the same ground as him. Then we have the second trolling. Watari. Great athlete and a champion he became a delinquent but he still had the abilities and could find redemption. Then here he goes with heart problems. Why did the author build up such a good and promising character to kill the premises in that way? Ah, he can continue to fight. Basically the author lost momentum after the first 50 chapters, made the fans angry and lost he possibility to recuperate, and this is also reflected in the weekly rankings if you have the chance to take a look. First chapters were all ranked high and often in the top 3, and the last ones were low. He tried to recuperate. Around chapter 100, with the introduction of the 4 heavenly dim-wits and their retarded super moves. It felt like a shonen boxing manga for a change. But it was too late. People lost interest and the new pace did not make things better. So probably the editors told him to wrap up the things after the summer camp arc and begin a new series because this one was not destined to success because the errors committed between chapters 50-100.
I think he will try with another manga in the near future, by also exploiting the ideas and situations he couldn't implement in this manga. If it will be a sport manga, I will probably translate it, if I find the sport interesting and hoping that he doesn't troll the fandom once again.
