In choosing the guns that appear in the world of Desert Punk, I've tried to select the ones that I think are the most "functional." Guns that may not be so precise, but just keep on working, no matter how harsh the environment. A high-precision gun is just a hunk of metal if it stops working. That's what I mean when I say functional guns. It's all about the skills. And Desert Punk's world is just so awesome like that.

P.S. I was just bragging about choosing functional guns and all, but in Volume 1 of Desert Punk, I included guns like the Walther P38 and Luger P08, which really aren't all that sturdy in harsh environments. I mean, the XM-177 is so flimsy, it would burn up and die after shooting two 30 round magazines in the Kanto Great Desert, where temperatures rise above 50°C (I did include it as a weapon for tank crewmen, but I don't feel like that's much of an excuse). The Desert Suit The airtight suit connects with a personal air conditioner, providing the wearer with comfort regardless of the time of day. Ideally, every family would have at least one of these suits at home. Furthermore, moisture collected through the exhaust pipes can be stored in the optional filtration unit to be converted into drinkable water. In emergency situations, the tank can be filled with urine to provide drinking water.
Weaknesses The suit is completely airtight, so if the air conditioner breaks or the battery runs out, it's bearable at night, but gets insanely hot during the day, and can really kill someone.
