(TN: The expression that Momo uses regarding these spectators is “Onaji Ana no Mujina”; a “mujina” is a creature akin to a badger [just like “tanuki” being confused with raccoons] and the expression essentially has a meaning of “no matter how different they appear, they all are the exact same”)
Momotarou: If you look closely, they’re just high government officials, royalty, aristocrats and the big-shots of the underworld, as seen in the newspapers and TV. They’re all a filthy lot that have too much money and spare time.
Hien: Toudou is appearing to make strong connections with important people throughout the world by way of inviting them to this tournament.
J: He’s a completely great oldie. This thing correctly is killing two birds with one stone.

TN: I really don't get why the heck Toudou suddenly says "OK, all those fights before were nothing, THIS is the real finals" like that...especially considering all the fights Otokojuku has done up to now. But in a way, this chapter is somewhat of a game-changer, taking away all of the advantages Otokojuku has gained from defeating nearly all of Toudou's forces and forcing it back into his hands, even if he literally stole it away from his son. Of course, with this being the finals...well, the "real" one...it finally is sort of time we saw the mastermind taking control of his tournament...though in a strange way, seeing him and his "posse" of rich, bored politicians and businessmen seems to suggest a similar group who watches these tournaments in other shonen tournament arcs akin to Yu Yu Hakusho or Flame of Recca: the types who rather watch big guys destroy each other instead of doing something useful with their time and who think they control everything. But then again...I wouldn't be surprised if the likes of Kori Moran and Sakyo was inspired by Toudou Hyoue. But hey...I'm a bit surprised Date was the last fighter considering I would have expected a "Three Leaders" type with Momo, Jaki and Akashi, but...well, Date was the leader of the Gougakuren so he sort of counts for one too. Of course, who knows which is going to go first...on either side! (though something tells me Momo and Gouki are the grand finale)
