TN: Honestly while I did defend Otokojuku for it's silliness and strange fighting styles a couple chapters back, there is one thing that I do sort of get tired of whenever I translates these chapters: the moments where Togashi and Toramaru are said to be wrong about a battle's scenarios. It seems like whenever those two say something positive or negative, someone (usually Momo but many others have done it too) quiet them by saying "wrong", then explaining why as the character does something to confirm it. Honestly...it's because of this "wrong" bit that sort of takes away the actual impact and power of this chapter. This is the chapter for the most part that confirms that Jaki is slowly dying after that blow he took to the heart and is using the rest of his power to defeat Spartacus. You have to admire his guts and his obsession in letting his body become victimized by Spartacus' whip as he takes away the advantage the warrior had considering how mighty and powerful Jaki has been all this time in the scope of the series. But somehow, the impact was sort of ruined by the whole "you're wrong" scenario done here as typical, where Togashi and Toramaru end up being contradicted that Jaki isn't going to survive the attack he took and is merely using his remaining guts to end up giving his final lesson to his fellow classmen. I know Togashi and Toramaru are doofuses, but to use them like that to confirm that Jaki was dying just felt cruel. Those two never get any respect whatsoever, sometimes even by way of the author, and end up pulling something like that just so we can get confirmation on what could be the end of an era at Otokojuku. But aside from that, it was a powerful chapter...and though Jaki is still speaking now, who knows how much longer that will last even if Spartacus too is still living...for now.
