The time is near: the final battle between Robin Mask and Kinnikuman to determine the Choujin Olympics crown! So...what does this have to do with Ramenman?

Chapter 45: The Chojin Olympics Finals

Announcer: Listen to those loud cheers. The Chojin Olympics have finally reached its climax with a record one-hundred thousand spectators here at National Stadium!!
Announcer: Amidst the spectators are many well known celebrities.
Announcer: I can see the leader of the World Chojin Society, Doro Phereas, is here too.
Announcer: This really is a panic……
Announcer: If you think of it, of the over 100 Chojin we had, now we’re down to the duo of Kinnikuman and Robin mask.
Announcer: Um—right now, both of them are getting weighed in, but in no delay, it’s over. Both of them have passed their best weight.
Announcer 1: Actually, earlier it appears Kinkotsuman has been arrested by space police.
Announcer 2: He’ll get the death penalty. Ha ha ha

Announcer: It’s rain. Rain has started to fall--!!
Ramen: Hey, how’s that, hurry to beddy-bye!!
Announcer: Well—then, he had the will for a counterattack, but he’s been caught again!!
Redshoes: Ramenman loses this match for foul play!!

Announcer: And Ramenman loses for foul play!!
Redshoes: Are you alright, Terryman!?
Ramen: Kinnikuman, who will rise to the champion ring….a warning!!
Ramen: Kinnikuman, you will be crushed by Robin Mask!!

Terry: Hey, what are you doing--!!
Redshoes: Stop, Terryman!
Ramen: It’s because Kinnikuman has a fighting soul---!!
Ramen: He made merry of my death match. I will go with him wherever he goes…
Terry: Ra………Ramenman is cr…crying tears of blood…!!

TN: Yeah, tears of blood are really sick...but if you think about it, this is the brutality that Ramenman has been showing since he's been introduced. Even at his moment of greatest humility, when he shows how he's on Suguru's side since the match against him, he still shows a bit of a sick, brutal streak of who he was. Of course that probably has little to do with why he was cheating but that was more his own desire to at least get something out of this match, whether or not Terry was sacrificed to get this done. Somehow in a way Ramenman is probably one of the first Choujin to really come on to Suguru and his fighting spirit...Terry still has some issues but you can see how he's becoming an important ally to those who meet him even at this early stage. (and of course the joke about "Kinnikuman has supporters now" sort of also shows the evolution of the storyline: the people who had hated him or wanted little to do with him as recent as the early rounds are starting to support Suguru and his matches...definitely character development all around)

Well as it stands now, that's probably the last translation I'm going to do on this small segment of the series. The final Choujin Olympics match between Suguru and Robin Mask has already been translated and you probably can find it with little difficulty out there. As for the project: there's still a few chapters left in vol. 4, which actually introduce the next arc I'm going to do...and that's where I'll see you next time. I sort of do hope you read the final battle of the Choujin Olympics though before getting that far...cause I'm not stopping except to read them myself.
