TN: There really isn't much to say about this ending considering how it was all laid out there rather easily. It was a bit surprising to see the WSC idiots actually stand up for Robert and help Terry get his leg back, but other than that it was still somewhat satisfying to see him finally pull off a Calf Branding without being stopped by...well, weapons, fake legs or all that other hoo-hah of the arc. In some weird way, it felt more like Terryman was the real hero of the second half of this arc instead of Kinnikuman...well at least since the tag arc started. Heck, we just barely got reminded that Suguru finally got his feet (er...butt) on the Walkway of Glory back at Supermen World in St. Louis before...yeah, that was really weird, with Suguru going from New York to St. Louis back to New York...and next chapter he's in Guam! (but these sorts of things really shouldn't matter in a manga series I guess) Oh, one more comment before I get to the wrap up: is it just me or has Edith Harrison evolved from a creepy looking hag to really cute in this arc?

Well with the America arc basically over with this chapter (the next chapter is sort of a transition that begins our movement from this arc towards the next one...which already has been done but we're doing the transitional work mostly), so basically I can give some final thoughts. And in a way, I personally thought that this arc was really good...probably from Suguru's first arrival in Hawaii until probably when the plane crashed in the Robin Mask rematch. We got to see him learn some real wrestling moves from Prince Kamehame, have a decent fight with Jessie Malvia, cause a lot of ruckus against the WSC and WSF in an undercover operation and even got a rematch with Robin Mask! But after the plane crash...I dunno. The tag tourney idea was neat on paper but somehow all of the matches seemed to be very screwed up in one way or another, from Kinnikuman not knowing the rules to the whole falling roof bit to this last match being rather easy after Ramenman took away the weapons...and that's not going into the matches without the Machineguns! Terryman did at least make it interesting with his trials and tribulations regarding the consequence of getting shot in the leg and his fake leg problems, but it felt like he was the only character in the second half of the arc and Suguru was forced in the background. And while I like Skull Bozu for being a creep and Beauty Rhodes was a neat homage to Andre the Giant (though he really wasn't that good in the second half either), the later characters like John Steamboat and Devil Magician really didn't do as much as planned...sure Devil Magician at least tried but he felt more like Bozu's lackey than much of a developed character. (OK, God Phon Eric wasn't too bad but I guess he was just there after that cool intro where he threw away Sheik Alien) While I wish this arc was more exciting, at least it wasn't too bad. But now, we're moving forwards...
