Welcome to the next New Manga Shout Out. With the no-raws/scans rule on MH, you have to work a bit to find these mangas. There once was an ayakashi called Karma who challenged his victims to a battle of wits. If the subject succeeded, the ayakashi would grant them one wish, but if they lost, he would devour their soul. At the same time, there was a young monk called Hanasaku Ikkyuu, who was famed for his cleverness. He used to eagerly sharpen his mind, solving challenging riddles sent to him, until his mother fell ill. When he found that his cleverness was of no use in helping her, he gave it up.

Karma seeks out Ikkyuu, eager to best him in a battle of wits and consume his soul. One day, Ikkyuu rescued a young beggar boy, only to see him fall ill with a mysterious illness. That same day, Karma finally finds Ikkyuu and offers him his dangerous bargain. Thanks to Karma, will Ikkyuu finally have a way to use his cleverness to help the people around him?

The two of them rebuilt and improved the dying Balot, giving her incredible perception and abilities to control her environment. The only thing they were unable to repair was her severed vocal cords. As Balot tries to deal with all these changes in her life, the doctor and the mouse enlist her help in catching her would-be murderer, the criminal Shell!

Yuma magically gets transported into a different world where she has taken the role of the demon lord’s temporary replacement and the only way to return back home is to somehow find a way to resurrect the previous dark lord. Unsure if she is dreaming or not, she decides to go with it and starts gathering her demon legion to find a way to bring back the evil Deltoria.

This is what tethysdust said this week:
Nothing really stood out much this week. Kikai Banashi was probably my favorite. If you've read the one-shots, the serialization is pretty similar. Mardock Scramble started out pretty interesting, but the story was becoming more and more ridiculous. Vintage Warbirds is probably cool for people interested in planes.

Pretty good ones this week. Kiba...Arms Peddler - I love the artwork on this. Very well done along with the plot being very dark. Puts off a very serious mood and it fits very well with the series and characters. Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - I guess it was based on an online series? Very unique plot line where it starts where most series end. I really liked the comedic approach to everything along with the facts about war in general.
My opinion:
The idea of a balding teen sounds funny so I'd check out Hageruya. I'd definitely check out Liselotte to Majo no Mori since it's by the mangaka of Fruits Basket, and I really liked that series. I hope this new series is as good as that one was. The idea of a hero on the side of a demon queen piques my interest so I'd be willing to give Maoyuu Maou Yuusha a chance~
