About Amzy

Hello, there! My name is Michelle and I'm currently an undergraduate in psychology, minoring in Japanese. I never actually intended on learning Japanese, but after I took a Japanese course to fill out my class units, I fell in love with it and decided to pursue a minor. It also never occurred to me to translate manga until my sister asked me to pick up a stagnant project she was reading. After that, I found translating relatively enjoyable and now I translate from time to time as a hobby and as a way of honing my skills.

I started studying Japanese in the fall of 2007 and started off translating Trinity Blood in January 2009. Since then, I've also been translating Dogs: Bullets & Carnage and Gintama.
