Well, Dad's retiring from the service next month, and he's been all across the country visiting his old units and taking his last official helicopter flight, making speeches and whatnots. Of course, my Mom has to go with him. Making me the only person with enough free time (since it conveniently coincides with my younger brother's final exams) to handle the family business.

No interest really. Was more interested in the hardware than the training.

Plus our dad never really attempted to get us into the service. Three smart big boys and none in the military.

Also, for Imp. The Philippines has hundreds of dialects, considering the 7,107 islands we have and all, and Tagalog is the dialect in the capital, Manila. So, when the National Language, Filipino, was created back in the 30's, most of the words and syntax came from Tagalog, much to the consternation of the people from other places.
