My holidays started today and they are until the 17th (or the week before that) of Jan.

What do you study silver_soul?

Ufh,lucky. Mine start on the 17th and end on the 10th of Jan. I study Pharmacy. What about yourself?

welli go by since my meal in uni is free, and my dorm fees are taken when i first entered the dorm, so i dun have to worry about staying or meal. so I go by fine
a year back i used to teach A levles physics i amasses a bit.I think i ll start again as physics and maths will be easy for me,when push comes to a shove, if i can maintain my times then i can earn upto 12 thousand taka thats around 18 dollars, though considering Bangladesh that much amount is good enough for a bachelor to go by . i m not yet pushed that much to tell the truth

That's not too bad then. In England, we get £6000/year if living away from home all of which you pay back after you start working.£3000 for tuition and £3000 for living. I dunno about Taka but it's about $9000-$10,000 x the number of years spent in uni.

Man, I envy all of you that get holiday/winter breaks from school. I really miss those. I don't miss the studying and tests/papers so much, but the breaks...

Actually, the exams are kinda irritating but the reports and papers I can live with. I don't have any real problem with them and since in EBD we work in groups of two persons throughout the whole education I don't really feel the pressure since my group is insanely brutally awesome.

For example we finished a 20pages paper in two hours and got an A on it since we are working with the same area (angled our reports to cover the same processes and flows in our partner company) since it gives us more knowledge of the chosen area and we don't have to spend hours and hours looking up new litterature/theory bases all the time.
That's awesome. That and the fact that we're currently on a super-secret project that are to be released around new years which hopefully will be a sucess! *super-excited*

I am happy that I have holidays and breaks from school Goodsy but really I just spend them watching TV-Series, working out, partying and studying, and I do that on schooldays. Only difference is that I sleep two hours longer and stay up two hours longer.

I feel ya to 100% Googlez. Even though there are a LOT of things to do at Uni here, the atmosphere is golden and everyone are superbly awesome so it kinda works. The social life compensates from the horror of exam week.

I also just learned that High School teachers do get a quite nice salary after a while so I might change my choice of career and go with that instead... :3 I'd be an awesome teacher.

Hmm yeah, exam weeks are really bit frightening, better start preparing already, not that long to go...
Apart from that it was a semster of parties and chilly willy. No papers, no reports, just a presentation for an attestation, which we did today.. *results tmrw, hope gon pass*
ok, was working like two months, that was bit stressing.

Can't wait to the break though, but still dunno what to do on NYE. baah, every year the same..

yeah,it's really good so far. Apart from the essays they give you on communication it's enjoyable. Compounding's killing me though. How did you find it?

And not sure, I haven't been following this thread much.

I've been pretty good, today has been awesome~ Since I saw a lot of Youtube stars at the shopping center and took a photo with KevJumba I also got free tickets to his tour thing, that would've usually cost $45 AUD~ So yeah, today was awesome (Y) But the previous few days were pretty boring, but I guess today made up for them

I got here last night and were just getting stuff ready for my sister's engagement party tomorrow. I'm going chocolate shopping later today!

As for my school break, it's been boring so far (except for today~ ) and I haven't really made many plans... But I'm going ice-skating next Wednesday, so that should be fun. Other than that, I'm going over to my friend's place for New Year's Eve and I'm sleeping over there.

But it sounds like you've made yourself quite some cool plans for the holidays, now all that's left is to fill up the rest of the days with meaningless but time consuming tasks and activities or whatnot

It wasn't too bad for me. Not easy exactly, but not too hard either. I liked it. ^^ My school didn't focus much on compounding, honestly. But it's not like much medication is compounded anymore (in the US, at least). Kind of a shame, really. I actually kind of like doing it, mixing all the stuff together and what not. Makes me almost feel like I'm doing a lab experiment. :3
