I don't care if someone disses even Minato, but dissing Jiraiya is the worst crime ever. He's by far the best character in Naruto. Or was rather :crying

Uuuh, I haven't been here for over a week now. Sorry but I don't have that many visitors so I doubt that advertisement worked much, if at all. But I'll take that lovely wink smiley and hug it! :glomp

Good try but not really :)

Heh heh. Apart from being loaded with assignments lately, I've been using most of my free time to watch everything about the World Championship of Ski that is currently taking place (and run through Dragon Age again). The championship takes up several hours every day, and with the assignments on top of that I've had little time to even game or be online at MH.

Re: Performing Odd Jobs For A Fee

I actually hoped you'd sit there with SC 2 on your monitor, upping your apm's and micro'ing, playing protoss four gateways build or terran drop/hellion or something for upcoming mod-games.

However, when the winter WC is over (hoo-ray for our gold btw \o/) do you think you'll have some time to play Starcraft, Starcraft 2, DotA, Counter-Strike 1,6 or some other game? Would be really fun! :)

Re: Performing Odd Jobs For A Fee

Meh, I'm done with CS and the like of that. Never put myself into DotA so I'd get pwned, Starcraft is oooold so I rather play SC2 if I have to play Starcraft. But sure. To be honest it's been years since I was in a RTS mood, not since WC3 was hot and WoW was not (as in nonexistent).

Re: Performing Odd Jobs For A Fee

I was just name-dropping some games since I find it truly awesome to play games nowadays as long as it's limited to max one thirty minute game á day. I actually downed wc3 some days ago and am now playing one to two games á day with Roflkopter, Farfalla and today Ibra.

Since I have so much time to spend/kill now I have time to look for jobs, work out, walk the dog and all that, hang with friends, moderate here and still kill some time with games rather than idle on irc, playing UNO with Kafuka. :amuse
I mean if people plan and/or spend their time effectively and minimize the slacking almost anyone have time to play! With the slacking I mean the 20min you waste here, 15min you waste there, etc. I know for sure that earlier I could spend 20mins not doing anything before I ate breakfast. If I instead went straight for the breakfast I had 20mins after to do something useful. Like showering ;|

I kinda gave up on WoW as it became irritatingly close to what you, and so many others predicted - it started to take a lot of my time.

Basically it was my competitive side that took the over hand. I mean, I went all PvP at first, got the gear and resi needed to seriously make children cry but at a certain stage you need to put down more than thirty - ninety minutes á day to break the 2100 rating bar, and stay there as a top player. I mean you seriously had to sit there and play, play, play, play, adjust tactics, change bindings and play, play, play, etc so I decided that since I'm not planning on going "pro", there's no use spending that much time.

Yes, I know how it sounds. Me saying that I have time leftover for games, and one paragraph down claiming not to have time for wow? You have been there, you know what I mean. I find one game of DotA more rewarding than one Heroic instance. The take about the same amount of time, but the feeling afterwards is way different. And you are finished after one round of DotA - you are however not finished after one Heroic.

By the way, I got a little angry at you claiming "Starcraft is old". :notrust Of course it's old, but it is still, one of the most flawless RTS games in the world. Not many games can exceed it. But if you're ever feeling like you want to play some Starcraft 2, then poke either me, benelori or Roflkopt3r and we'll be up for it. I would love a good 2v2 or 1v1v1v1. :)

Re: Performing Odd Jobs For A Fee

Well, seeing as I never really played much Starcraft nor the second edition, it's no wonder I'm not very keen on playing an old game that I have no connection to. It's like trying to make a guy that has never played Diablo 2 play the game, or the same for Counter Strike 1.6. It's just old, looks bad and is unappealing to ones that have no connection or history to the game. I've been irritated over this many times, as one of my best friends have never really played much Zelda, and I'm in love with OoT and Majora's Mask, but we can't relate as he has no history or connection to it, while I have a strong "bond" with the games.

Indeed, I'm pretty good at using time effectively. I have a motto that says "All time that you enjoyed wasting, isn't wasted time" and I go by that quite a lot. I do however suck at using time effectively as soon as something I don't wish to do hits me. Like when I have an assignment hovering over my head. Until I've "dealt" with it for the day I can't be fully at ease.

Getting rid of WoW was the right thing to do. Nice move.

Sure I'm up for something. I played WC3 a few years ago so I wouldn't mind a few rounds of classic WC3. As long as Kopt3 doesn't rush me right away in the first game again, talk about "warm up round" :notrust

Nice post but i couldnt help but notice this tidbit. Am I right in understanding, that at the age of 20 you are just beginning to perform adequate hygiene practises? :blink

Any bit of advertisement helps~ And see, more people did visit after that post (hah, I brought some attention back to your thread :p) so I'm sure people saw it and that's all that matters :)

Apart from that it's been fine. The assignments kicked my ass for a while but in the end I came out victorious! Now there's over a month to my next worry :3c

How's the driving license coming along for you? Any interesting/funny moments lately?

Re: Performing Odd Jobs For A Fee

Congratulations on your victory! :confetti By over a month to your next worry do you mean you've got a break from school or just a break from heavy stuff?

I got told by the instructor yesterday that I was a good driver :thumbs But then I proceeded to stall the car after that, haha. Other than that, nothing really funny as I'm not as fail as I was before :XD

Oh and did I tell you? Manual car license in Singapore is called "3C". True story :oh

Re: Performing Odd Jobs For A Fee

Sorry you two, I've been so busy this whole month and this thread completely slipped out of my radar. I know it's late but I will reply anyway.

Sally, I meant a break from heavy stuff although that one was only a week long. This month I've had several assignments and a test so only now (sent my last assignment for a while today) am I really "free". A month of no worries was a huge exaggeration from my part.

How's the driving going now, it's been a while since my last update. The 3C part is awesome, here it's just "B" :)

@BBB: Sorry, you can guess from my other posts that I'm pretty loaded. It certainly sounds fun however.

Re: Performing Odd Jobs For A Fee

Oh, that kinda sucks :( *pats* I'm not looking forward to starting school again come August. So, how long does this round of freedom (or is there even one?) last?

Driving's going okay I guess. I kinda suck at reversing and at low-speed control, but other than that it's been pretty good :) I'll take a picture of my license when I get it eventually, hopefully there'll be a "3c" on it somewhere :XD

Re: Performing Odd Jobs For A Fee

Heh, it didn't last long at all as I'm back on the assignment track already (writing a paper now about strategic business development in relation to Porter's Five Forces for anyone who's interested).

Reversing can be pretty hard, especially when parking in tight spots so it's not exactly uncommon :XD Take a picture of it yeah! Is there long left of the practice runs?

Re: Performing Odd Jobs For A Fee

Oh, oh, oh, I've written a similar paper actually, but we compared porter's five forces with a couple of other theories for making an analyse of the world around the company (don't know the english name = omvärldsanalys).

But it's quite interesting.

Also my English is shit today. I should go achievement hunt on my 360 instead... *meh*
