Nice cover i like the little mermaids arching the top of the cover and im surprised that the Kraken is Orange i think he should be like a musty blue or darkish green color but oh well

Nice cover but nothing of special. I don't understand why you are so happy but I respect your opinions.from what chapter to what?604-613 or 604-612? Oda is making his mangas shorter because he hasn't got enough chapter.this is for his several pauses.

New volume cover looks great. I wish Viz would release a little faster so that we wouldn't be 5 volumes behind.

Just noticed he did that with the first colour spread after the timeskip too.

Considering that one's from before Nami (or anyone) even joined the crew, and way before anyone gave Oda Eichiro coloured pencils, pretty impressive really.

Actually that color spread is originally in color it's just that, in the volume releases, they don't print them in color.

I think Viz has done a good job catching up. I'm pretty sure they were a lot further behind that just 5 volumes a few years ago.

Akainu's fruit is officially named Magu-Magu fruit
Vol.62 contains up through chapter 614. 11 chapter volume.

By the way, the color scheme for luffy flashback is changed in the anime as of the volume cos I don't see ace wearing orange ever.
But that's just a minor and trivial thing, maybe it'll come up the next episode

Greg: Hey folks just fyi on the SBS, the Law comment actually wasn't just a stupid comment. I was able to read it all and it turns out that Law's way of addressing people like Luffy with the suffix 'ya' dates back to the Edo period when people identified each other by profession. You see, 'ya' means 'store' and people called others by 'So-and-so of the Tool Shop' and such.


OH! And Coribou and Caribou were confirmed as English name spellings if they hadn't been previously.

I'm just a little disappointed that Luffy's chest scar is not so cool as it was before, it got really smaller....
