I'm so happy Beelzebub's tank sales increased! I hope this means it'll get licensed soon. <3 Considering the first week of sales for the last volume was 90,000, this is a good, right?
Beelzebub has been licensed in both French and German but I have a hard time seeing it getting an English version. I remember reading those ridiculous news reports of Dragon Ball having a tough time in libraries because of a few nudity and Baby Be'el is naked 24/7. Viz stopped distributing Gintama another action comedy and I don't know if they could handle Beelze.
Really? That's more than I'd have thought. Kokou no Hito is never on the Oricon top 30, and that's an average of about 700K each volume. Which is very good for anything in Young Jump. I guess it sells better in the long term. Unless there's some manga called "Koko no Hito" (Translating to: The Man Here) that's different from "Kokou no Hito" (Isolated Man).
Yay for OP still being on top, though it's certainly not surprising at all. I can't wait to see how much each volume after this sells, the numbers just seem to get bigger each time
It's also quite interesting seeing how close Mago's sales are to Reborn's I agree with Teeba that Mago is really like Jump's D.Gray-Man - has pretty good sales but does terribly on the TOCs. And like Kaiten, I'm happy to see Shingeki ni Kyojin doing so well and even having sales comparable to Bleach, a longtime Jump powerhouse
Naruto being at #9 is respectable for its 4th week
Lets say that Shingeki ni Kyojin manages to sell 1 million copies with say... Vol 7.. would it be the quickest manga series to become a million+ seller? I don't suppose anyone knows which manga took the fewest volumes to reach that mark?
it's a good performance that naruto being in 9th place after 4 weeks, but the sales numbers this week are too low, even one piece (the only exception of decline of sales the last years) the sales of this volumes are low comparing with the 61, I think the first print will decline after this volume
