Re: 25 days left T_T Type for some awesomeness *o*

It took me 1 day to learn two basic accords. B and E if i remember right. The next day i learned another one. G i think, and i polished my finger-jumping skills. In a week i learned the most used accords and could already play simple melodies. In two weeks i learned already most of all accords and started learning how to pull the strings and not only brush through them. In three weeks i learned (nearly) everything there was to learn, and my guitar playing skills rocked

Now, nearly 2 years have passed and they suck

I think if you put forth a lot of determination and patience and plain practice you could get the hand of any instrument you wanted to play, you might not be at (Insert the best player of said instrument)'s level.... But hey, it's a start.

You guys talk like its so easy.
I don't want to risk buying a guitar if its just going to be left there collecting dust.

then don't buy it

no, honestly, you don't buy a guitar unless you are sure you are going to play it

Re: 25 days left T_T Type for some awesomeness *o*

Eh, Maybe it is easy I don't really know, and I don't know if I will attempt to learn an instrument.

Ice, I know how to play notes on a piano... But I can't really play any songs....

And Cello is awesome... I wanted to play Violin in junior high, but they had just cut the orchestra program at my school.. =/

Here in Portugal , the schools don't have those kinda of programs !
And we still do very well

OMG so many posts

@Kdowns and Ice
Piano is so cool
I'd like to play it one day.... I mean I can play it but I need to first think of it as if it was a guitar and memorize the songs quickly....

@Alpha
Why have you stopped playing?
I haven't played in a while (except for two days ago) but I know that if I grabbed a guitar I'd rock the socks out of it
If you ever come back to it relearning will be much easier I can assure you

@Zel
Do buy a guitar it can get you a few ladies

@indie
AnoHana is freaking awesome

Re: 25 days left T_T Type for some awesomeness *o*

BBB, You know how you had to memorize how to play chords for guitar? I was taught in my Theory class, that once you know how to read chords off of music, you can read anytype of music.

Re: 25 days left T_T Type for some awesomeness *o*

I just learned the chords shapes themselves and then learned scales and how to form chords that way I could make my own chords or make variations according to the key of the song.

I broke my guitar in an excess, and since then couldn't buy a new one

Re: 25 days left T_T Type for some awesomeness *o*
