It's not just a baseball movie. It's about family, and bit of supernatural stuff going on in it. It gets me every time

No, I can't cram all night. I work all night. I don't get home until 1 am. Which is probably not helping my failing test grades.
At least I only work five hours tonight.

... How long have you been awake if you are fighting sleep?

I slept last night, just not as much as I'd like.

and my coffee wore off hours ago.

Made an F on my last calculus exam which was 1/4 of my grade.
Made a D on my recent o-chem exam. If my corrections are good enough, I might be able to pull this one up to a 33%, which is passing that test with a C.... Yeah. That's how hard it was. 33% is a C. What a mindfuck.

Yeah. One week I worked 36 hours, and got behind at a very pivotal time in cal. I've been working more than 30 hours for the past month and I'm just tired all of the time. I have the potential to be getting As in o-chem, but it takes MASSIVE amounts of study time, which I have none of.

Work is really demanding. I have to multi-task and deal with really malicious people every time. And when I get home at 1 am, the last thing I want to do is solve math problems and write our mechanisms for chemical reactions. You know? I try to, but end up falling asleep on my book and forgetting to set my alarm. >.<

If it counts for anything, I have a 100% attendence record for my classes. I don't miss any lectures, and that's the only reason I have any sort of chance at passing cal II at this point.

If I make a 70% on the final, I can pass the class with a C. If I make anything below a 50%, it's an automatic F no matter what I made on everything else. Bitch of a class. I'm competing with engineers in math and pre-med student in o-chem.

They don't care. They scheduled me to work during my o-chem lecture final. I had to switch with some lady today. It's really hard to switch that shift since it's closing (working until 1 am), and I'm one of the only available employees who know how to close customer service. Luckily, Sharon is nice and worked with my schedule.

I work the day of my o-chem final though.
Right before it.
I have one hour to go from work to school. It takes me 50 minutes just for the drive.
Fucking stress is going to be going rampant that day.

They sound like total assholes to you... I mean they scheduled you during your Finals, which I would of complained about because it really is bullshit. Then again I always close but thats because I am one of the few people who can close =/

Maybe you can see if they will let you off of work maybe 15 minutes earlier than what you are actually scheduled for =/

Sharon is going to be working an eight hour shift that night just so I can barely make it to the exam.
I'm not going to ask her to come in any earlier than she already is. She's a live saver and I owe her big time.

Shift switching is a normal thing. The scheduling things are a bitch though. Isn't there anyway to put in that you can't work specific times? Do you really need to work 30 hours a week? Is it something they're doing, or is it something that you need to do? Either way, that sounds like a son a of a bitch. Weren't you looking to work somewhere other than Kohl's?...might be a good idea after the holidays.

Hopefully you do as best as you can on your finals, and hopefully next semester won't be so bad? All I know, is I'm quite certain I know someone who'll be blowing off a ton of steam on Winter break

She's about as close to Full time as you can get without being Full time. I believe you have to average 35 hours a week for a quarter to be considered a Full-time worker...maybe it's different in other states?

Yeah, switching shifts is pretty regular, but NO ONE ever switches me for closing. Especially when it's not until midnight. Like I can't believe I actually got someone to do it. Maybe it's because I threatened to call in sick the day of if they didn't fix it. And that's their worse nightmare at this time of year.

There is a book where you ask off the days you need, but this particular week you're not allowed to ask off for anything but emergencies. I guess final exams don't count. XD *imagines me calling in* "Hey, guys. Count me out for my shift today. Ummm.... My leg has literally fallen off. Completely. Blood errwhere. Gonna go on over to the hospital. It's an emergency and all. " *goes to final exam*

They also told everyone that we're not allowed to switch shifts this week. Whoops.

Well, I'm either going to blow off steam this winter break, or go into a very deep depression. All depends on my grades.
If you guys don't see me for more than a week after December 16th, I'm probably still alive (just not motivated enough to post). Don't worry or anything. XD

Academy does our requests for time off on their computers at work where we have to go in and get on the computer to do it... But I kinda wish I got 30 hours a week... Only time I ever got 30 hours was during Tax Free.

I'm part time. 40 hours a week is full time. If they work me over 40 hours, I get paid over-time. They are SUPER careful not to do that though. We're understaffed as it is just because they have trouble covering payroll.

I should really have one or two people with me in customer service during this time of year, but most of the time I'm alone. There are LITERALLY piles and piles of returns just stacked all over around me. It's a nightmare.

Don't many go into a depression during the holidays anyways? Regardless of the result of the finals, sounds like you need a break from stuff anyways.
