Wrong one. He's talking about Sakuran.

[Maxy Barnard]

Well that'll either be disconcerting or quite good. You never know which way these contests will go.

I must have missed following the TOC, is Shokugeki no Souma ranked yet? How is the series? (worth following?)
Initially I misjudged Assassination Classroom (I dropped it after first chapter) and after it turned out a massive hit, I was kinda curious and followed it to the latest chapter (it's pretty good ) Rare to see a new series establish itself consistently in top 3...

[Gah]

Look of the raw Sakuran hereSakuran. Awaiting translation now.

Soma's one of the best series in jump right now, so totally worth following. As for its reception, it's been kicking up a storm, and has just had a celebatory three straight weeks of colour pages.

For the folks in the USA, Viz is doing a Naruto retrospective and it has some cool features:

All the covers (with no text), some spreads, writtings from past editors.

I think these are from the new Kizuna books.. But enjoy, its free.

Its only for 3 days so hurry.

[lasleels]

Alright I've scanned symphony, however, I need a translator to PM me to translate it, THEN i'll work on it also, SOMEONE PLEASE translate the naruto/toriko authors interview bakas~ ;P

[susanoo13]

Was there a series or a couple that for you stood above the others?

My main interest is in Symphony and Rogii because of the art but it could be good to hear about it from someone which actually read the magazine.

Oh wow, these April Fool's jokes are insanely awesome.

[Crude]

Tommy Lee Jones would make a GREAT Saiki. Good to see that PSI is finally getting the worldwide recognition that it deserves!

[FanOfAniManga]

Wow, people all over the world really love Saiki now. About time.

I liked that Sakuran one-shot. Pretty weird, but interesting.

[Asgaroth]

i actually don't know what i should think about sakuran. i liked the premise to guess the name of the monster, but disliked the resolution for it. also the last few pages made it into a 0815 story, instead of the original beginning.

[susanoo13]

I liked he fact that the drawing style looks more refined and "his" now, I hope his next work will be animated since he sure deserves it!

To be totally fair though he only had 21 pages to work with. I'm sure if it was at least 40+ pages like a usual one shot the resolution probably would have been more fleshed out. Despite that I found it to be pretty decent. If Iwashiro returns to JUMP I'd prefer it be with a battle manga since that seems more his forte but it's nice to see he can do other genres as well.
