In normal time, I think Italy deserved to have won, they were the better team and had the most clear-cut chances. They just couldn't get that finish to put them away. The penalty shoot out was so nerving to watch, such brilliantly taken penalties from both sides. I love that our commentators made a dig at the English's inabilty to succeed on penalties: "I hope the England team are watching this, it's absolute masterclass in penalty-taking"

Casillas and Buffon were really poor in the shootout.

Horrible luck for Bonucci.

Casillas used to be great at shootouts, but now, he's not even close. He was just caught flatfooted on most of them. Buffon wasn't any better, to be honest, although he didn't just stand there.

It looked like Mata's been taking penalty practice since his poor penalty in the CL Final. All I cared about in the shootout was Mata scoring. I don't want Brazil to win, so I was supporting Spain.

Give him a break, Mourinho made sure he didn't play for 6 months. Imo Valdes should've gone on, but not putting cassilas would've probably given Coach-san a lot of ****-talk in the media

Maybe Casillas' skills decreasing a spec were part of why Jose benched him. The obvious reason is that Casillas was interfering in the locker room and getting in Jose's way and you can't have a player doing that.

Iniesta has been there best player, possibly the only one playing for Spain but he's not enough to bring them back. The others haven't been in this game at all. Second half is gonna be such an interesting one from a neutral point of view.

TV commentators are always talking about Neymar. He's fantastic but Fred is pretty amazing too, i don't like how the medias tend to make one player monopolize the spotlight.
Anyways, Brazil is winning. It's going as i expected. Let's hope for two more goals!

I confess that I didn't hope that Brazil would win in the beginning of the tournament, happily I was wrong. XD Spain didn't have any chance in this match and it was not intentinonal. hahaha
