Prim's death really hit me hard for some reason. It was... Not needed, but then again it was to show Katniss how evil Coin is.

On the contrary, I think Prim's death was very necessary. Like you said, it convinced Katniss of how corrupt Coin was as a person, and how she was just as bad as Snow. I'm sure other things may have shown Katniss how evil Coin could potentially be, but only something as up-heaving as Primrose's death would drive Katniss to shoot her down the way she did. But I agree, Prim's death left me with a hollow sort of feeling. I cried my fucking eyes out when Rue died, or was even mentioned. You can imagine the sob fest that Prim induced. XD;

I started talking about Jennifer Lawrence to this guy at work tonight and I think he's convinced that I'm a full-fledged lesbian by now. :cookiehand
