I expected something relevant to the story. Do you read Nanatsu no Taizai or Shingeki no Kyojin? They have examples of side stories or "special chapters" which are relevant to the stoty in general.

Plus, I think story-wise, Souma is little bit difficult to have the special chapter which relate to the story since those two series have a big mystery which can use for their main story, but Souma doesn't really have big mystery or something which can relate to the story.

Furthermore, when I saw Kuroko and Beelzebub, their side-stories aren't really relate to the main story, either. So, I think this is the difference between Shueisha and Kodansha.

I expect that the full color chapter will be with main plot and not just a "filler", and i want a full color chapter for Haikyuu!

Did NnT released story released special chapter? I don't remember.

Plus, I think story-wise, Souma is little bit difficult to have the special chapter which relate to the story since those two series have a big mystery which can use for their main story, but Souma doesn't really have big mystery or something which can relate to the story.

Ban's story was a special chapter IIRC.

I see various possibilites to cover in Shokugeki story. Always has something interesting that was not covered by the main story. As I said, it is filler apparently, but it can cover Erina's training to the autumn election, this is interesting. Let's wait to see.

The examples which you provide are from Kodansha, and Souma is from Shueisha. When I saw the special chapters between those two publishers, apparently they are very different. The side-story from Kodansha relates to the main story, and the side-story from Shueisha is really just a filler.

As I said, it is filler apparently, but it can cover Erina's training to the autumn election, this is interesting. Let's wait to see.

For me, I can see the chapter will majorly focuses on Erina's service scenes rather than her training since it is about her summer vacation.

I was not arguing anything. I just said that it's bad that Shueisha side stories don't focus on the story like Kodansha as well as it's bad an entire chapter focused on fanservice.
Well, there is hope yet. Jump has changed quite a bit in the last years, maybe they changed about special chapters, too.

It's a bit hard to explain, but I have this feeling. Maybe it is just the line up, which obviously changed, and I'm crazy or something.
Let's take for example full color chapters, I think they were more rare in the past, but only this year we have three (Kuroko and Haiykuu!! IIRC, and Nisekoi now), maybe I'm wrong, I don't know...
I follow TOCs only 2 years, it is a small experience to talk about changes properly. Do you think that Jump changed?

Beelzebub rankings reached the arc in USA? Even so, I didn't see anything that good in the arc that could take it out of the bottom.

Haikyuu!! didn't get full color chapter.

It was in Jump Next, I remember now. Nevermind then.
