What IMO Curse would sing praises of happiness for signing Xpecial. The guy's the mechanically best support in NA. Man WTF who is TSM putting with Turtle then... I was so sure they were just giving him a harsh warning, lol. Maybe they scrimmed and found the new team much better, or close but could be worked on.

His goal has never been to be #4 in NA. He's always said "I want to win Worlds", such dumb thing to say as a NA player, but that's still what he has said. Curse is a huge downgrade for a player like Xpecial. I don't understand why he didn't at least stay as a free agent SLIGHTLY longer to see if any spot opened up in EU perhaps, or maybe he already checked everywhere. Or maybe he doesn't want to move there. In NA the only teams worth being in are TSM, CLG and C9. The former he left/got kicked and the latter don't need him. Tough luck for him honestly, he's a world class support.

You're putting words in my mouth (and Xpecial's). Again, he never said he joined Curse to win Worlds, why can't he have different goals (and I'm not even talking about tournaments). Just like Edward left Gambit back then, and now Alex leaving Gambit to prolly join the ex NiPs (which isn't a super team at all). Don't be so close-minded.

I'd say Edward and Xpecial's situations are rather similar. Both didn't fit with their teams at the respective times, and both had to choose a lesser team to be able to stay in the scene at all because the other top teams have no need of a high caliber support. No doubt this is a big downgrade for Xpecial. His goal went from winning Worlds to not competing at all in Worlds. My bad I put words in his mouth again?

I don't think he realistically ever had winning Worlds as a goal. The dude prolly saw how The Oddone stepped down, he himself is prolly getting subbed, so why won't him find himself a different team just in case?

His goals could be:

a- Playing in a team where he's comfortable (with both team mates and magement). That's very likely not happenning in TSM.
b- Having a secure spot in the scene (it's not like Curse has the most steady roster, but those moves in TSM prolly made him worry). The team is also in a safe place in the LCS unless something weird happens.
c- Staying in the US (just cause).
d- Getting paid for playing videogames.

He could have absolutely no ¨sports goals¨ or wtv you wanna name them. A football player wants to win money, if they ever win the World Cup (which is just a dream for most) that's just a plus, not a goal.

Also, wtf is wrong with your attitude lately, get off your high horse for once admin.
