[Hardy]

Omg theseYanks with their freekick plays, straight out of the NFL.

[FrostyMouse]

US nearly equalize.

[xi0]

[Nuno]

[xi0]

¨Back a dog up in the corner and it's gonna bite¨

Usa are the only team that can fight back when losing 2-0 in overtime. Admirable fighting spirit. But as a belgian: AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH PLEASE STOP THIS

[goldb]

Oh my.....

This has been possibly the match of the round? Bloody americans waking up so late lol

[FrostyMouse]

The US had a good run. Bring on Argentina vs Belgium.

[xi0]

DAMN...that could have easily gone to PKs...we blew two amazing chances

[FrostyMouse]

Eight Round of 16 matches and eight favorites (all group winners) moved on.

[Leoat12]

One of the best matches of the World Cup, epic. Belgium deserved, finally showed what we expected, but USA played very well, too, best match of them although they lost.

[xi0]

GOD IT HURTS.....

[Hardy]

I might be talking nonesense but Klinsmann looks a lot like Tony Hawk to me, lol.

Now, Zellogan, back to the stare contest... >_>

Mmm, prolly. Most were pretty bad. I didn't watch Brazil vs Chile but apparently that match should be the better one, right?

Eight Round of 16 matches and eight favorites (all group winners) moved on.

It's prolly the first time it happens. In 2010 it almost happenned but... USA lost

[Googlez_kun]

Well done, 'merica. Didn't expect such a run.

[Sky]

Kudos USA. That was awesome too watch. In the end the inexperience killed it but hey, football is on a good way in the USA.

Congratulations Belgium. Finally a great match.

The match was basically a 1:1 copy of Germany vs Algeria.

[FrostyMouse]

At least we don't have to hear about the American Outlaws for four more years.

[Koen]

Whatever you say, well deserved win by Belgium. It is not because US is showing fighting spirit for the last 15 mins, they would deserve 2-2

Nevertheless, congratulations to USA, congratulations to Belgium... This is with ease the most awesome game of this round thanks to two teams who have shown that good football and fair play goes along

True, probably the first time all eight group winners moved on. In 2010, however, the US were not favorites against Ghana, so all the favorites did move on, even if only seven of them were group winners. :P
