You waste a lot of his potential if you just corner him.And Messi should go back to the right wing that is where he played the best instead of a flase 9 or a 10.
We have a playmaker in Messi, I think that's enough

Wow common dude in individual terms that's really obvious. The gap is huge. How is our midfield worse than theirs? Same with our defense, names aside?

In Argentina he doesn't have a Dani Alves,Iniesta,Xavi and usquetes that harmonize so good with him.You waste a lot of his potential if you just corner him.

How? They don't have someone as good as Mascherano, they don't have a playmaker like Messi, they don't have a Di María, and Biglia adds balance next to Mascherano (something that Brazil doesn't have).Wow common dude in individual terms that's really obvious. The gap is huge.
When Gago wasn't absolute shit he used to be a pretty good partner with him (in fact, he was THE partner for Messi). There's also Higuaín, Agüero (they aren't best friends just cause) Di María that really understand him.In Argentina he doesn't have a Dani Alves,Iniesta,Xavi and usquetes that harmonize so good with him.
And Barca when they played with a real 9 such as Eto and Messi dribbled on the wing.
Sadly yes that is why i miss players such as Riquelme,Ortega and Veron in his prime. I also wish that Argentina would once again bring fourth a striker like Batistuta. How? In defense, they are only better as names, not in performance.

Yeah, back then when Ronaldinho also played, we don't have a Ronaldinho do we?
Agüero isn't really like Messi, he doesn't make a lot of plays for others... I find Tévez a bit more similar to Leo tbh.Sadly yes that is why i miss players such as Riquelme,Ortega and Veron in his prime. I also wish that Argentina would once again bring fourth a striker like Batistuta.
The problem I see with Agüero is that his playing style is similair to Messi's and no team needs two indentical strikers/players on the field.
Doesn't Argentina not have one player who comes anywhere near the playing style of Riquelma in their own ligue such as in Boca Juniors or River Plate?
River has Lanzini but he's nowhere close to be National team level (and now apparently we signed Pisculichi... closer to Riquelme but still, not even close to national level). Ricky Álvarez and Lamela are the closest to what you're looking for I guess (Álvarez has been called).
Then it would be about time that Alvarez gets a chance to playso that Messi can concentrate on attacking and creating chances without having to worry about creating the game.Agüero isn't really like Messi, he doesn't make a lot of plays for others... I find Tévez a bit more similar to Leo tbh.

D'Alessandro is a great layer but at a time he stopped advancing and stayed a talent instead of becoming a star. Argentina has a few such players who never get to unleash their full potential. One other famous example would be Aimar. What you think about D'Alessandro and Conca?
I know the brasileirão is hardly the best league in the world, but Conca manages to give assistances to Fred and make him score lol
D'alessandro is way past his prime. My dad wanted him for the National team (we kinda lack of a really good freekick taker -not counting Messi- and well, he's biased because of River Plate) but I doubt he really has the proper level atm. What you think about D'Alessandro and Conca?

Aimar reached his best level at Valencia tho. He's arguably the best player in their history.D'Alessandro is a great layer but at a time he stopped advancing and stayed a talent instead of becoming a star. But in order to do that you'll have to sit Lavezzi, and you'll lose a player on the left that can defend and attack at the same time (you'll have 3 players that don't do shit while defending), you lose a lot of balance. Then it would be about time that Alvarez gets a chance to playso that Messi can concentrate on attacking and creating chances without having to worry about creating the game.
Well Aimar played good but still under his potential. He had it in himself to get into the realm of Zidane,Figo,Pirlo and co but he stopped advancing.D'alessandro is way past his prime. Conca is kind of the same case, except that he was never as good as Andrés.

I'm pretty sure Enzo will play today instead of Álvarez. That team you just posted has even less balanceIf I were Sabella I would play with the following team:
Goal: Romeiro
Defense:Zabaleta,Demichiles,Garay,left winger
Midfield:Mascherano,Biglia and Alvarez
Attack:Higuian,Lavezzi and Messi.
So in my formation their is still a place for lavezzi.

from the stats you posted we can see that Messi never ran full speed in this WC. Cause I'm pretty sure Messi is faster on 100m. Robin needs 11 seconds for 100m and Messi needs 10,7 seconds so yeah messi and Argenitina were taking it easy the whole time.I'm pretty sure Enzo will play today instead of Álvarez. That team you just posted has even less balance

Yeah Robben is by far the best. If only Messi was bald.

Not so sure it was. Was there a replay?Offsides.
