That was one of the funniest moments in the chapter, asta being mindblown over the dude and then the dude being mindblown over Asta, I couldnt lololol. And Astas expression, too perfect.

Once again many hardened Jump armchair mangaka just cant enjoy good ole plain masterful fun.

The difference of Black clover , My hero academia and World trigger are big:
-World trigger was a slow development (different to BnH and Yaoi Clover) , have good ideas and later introduce Jin.
-My hero academia have cliches but it management ok , Kachan is the only character that I don't think is good but is not bad and later in the story Horikoshi is become the story in a better way

In Black Clover , I never see nothing, in BnH and WT I see a plot , an ideas , and good character but in BC I don't think nothing, the character are annoying and boring , I don't think nothing in Asta, Osamu and Deku are good Character not in Gintoki level of course, but I see a non-gary stu Inteligent character and damm , Kuga is better character in the beginning than Asta.
And the rival is a Fujo bait, I don't see the problem, kageyama is fujo bait and I love the character but Asta's rival is empty , I don't see the fun thing to a gary stu thing (Except it using to a gag , like Medaka Box).
The fairy tail team is bad and more annoying than the MC, I only read 13 chapter of Fairy tail in the begining of the series and I remember better than this....

In conclusion, compare My Hero academia or World trigger to BLack Clover is like compare Fairy tail and Nanatsu, both are cliches but in Nanatsu is a good management for them...

And the unpopular opinion of the day: I see Yoakemono better than Black clover, I wish Shibata returning with a hit...

I've already tol you on twitter, that this image with his hand out of his mouth is even creepier than the second mouth from the xenomorphs. But to be honest, I liked his reaction a few pages later, then he fought Magna Swing and saw the fire attack coming. "Oh, I'm going to die." I liked how he thought that so calmy.

But overall, Asta is just a hothead-Naruto-clon, without his tragic past to make him sympathetic. And the audience(I mean the people in the BC) are just jerks most times, and only for the reason, so that Asta going to become the underdog. In BnHA the audience in the tournament right now, have much more personality compared to that.

I don't see the deal about BC. I was cringing while reading it. As cringe-worthy as FT IMO.

Is it in the same the level as Fairy Tail? One more reason to not read it...

I haven't read past chapter six or so, but I really like it. It has a really good sense of pacing and the characters are fun if not engaging. I really like the role reversal that the girl is the goofy, weird character rather than the guy. The transformation thing is a little hackneyed, but that's a minor gripe among elements that go well together. It's the first jump manga in a while that feels like it really has a decent idea of what it's doing, but I suppose Iwashiro has been at this a while. I'll have to read the new chapters once I'm able to since it's really been good so far.

I read only three chapters, but enjoyed it and mostly because of the characters. The story seems to follow the formula of the first chapters of Bleach (a boy and a girl destroying monsters in the city). Kinda generic, but, as I said, the characters make it worthwhile and Iwashiro, fortunately, doesn't try to force anything.

To be honest, Kagamigami is the only Jump manga so far where I like all the characters, ch9 in the series is the start of a big arc too (I think) senpai, a must read :)

I really like Kagamigami but er, now that VIZ has stopped translating it for the time being I'm not sure how I can keep liking it without being able to read it. Its definitely a good mixture of supernatural, comedy, and action elements. I'm curious to see how the story develops.

Of the chapters I read, Kagamigami left an impression of feeling like the author was attempting to enter into the crowded realm of the ghost elimination subgenre of action series. Unfortunately, the chapters offered little in the way of anything new nor displaying a refining of the concepts it was attempting to emulate. However, the lead male character had a great character design so he was one I could get behind, however the other characters were very lacking. The female character for example, could have been inspired from Bleach's Rukia in this genre that has little space for new entries. If he had done this then it could have been very good. Instead, making her a goofy aloof type made it feel odd and kind of backwards. This prevents her from being able to make substantial contributions to the plot which is unfortunate. This would essentially make her a tag along type which is not a very good character to have. I was hoping she could have been like Sakurako [hardcore version] from Psyren [except without the blatant romance that ruins her normal character as the series goes on], which really made that manga a definitive entry for its generation.

It would be the type of manga that I would read but not one I would buy digitally or physically. If the main cast grew by giving him a protege that looks up to him or someone who can also transform like him and is his age, then I think it would really make this a must read series. Also make ghosts and whatnot designs more equivalent to PKMN or Yokai Watch.

Maybe (young) Jump audiences love something like rivalry and "chosen one" main character stuff , that's why it's kinda popular whatever it's lacking. Because it's just so mainstream.
I also don't really like BC but looking forward if there's surprises in the future.

So you are judging a whole series after reading one out of 40+ volumes. :/

I read 35 volumes and I confirm his statement although it is not the major problem that Fairy Tail has.
Are you saying that someone has to read the entire series before judging its quality? Not really...

See, shifting the hyperbole aside this is actually a cogent post about likes and dislikes about this series. It's still fairly early in so some of the points about other characters are a little bit too soon to comment on, IMO, but I understand your points and feel like they could contribute to the series overall. Honestly the stoic female has been done in Bleach and Psyren already so I do like that he went for something different with Mako. Also, um...you do realize who the audience of jump is right? Officially and unofficially speaking romance between the heroine and hero isn't really unusual. Personally I dislike any sort of romance in stories at all, (be it same gender or different), but I certainly wouldn't say it ruins a series or a character if it's there. It's just sorta something that is a price of entry.

That being said, I wouldn't buy Kami either...at least not quite yet. It's really enjoyable and I wish for it's continued success but it's too early to tell if it's just okay or a story that will be worth telling and or buying.
