Hoooooooly shit, I thought Crown would be perfect for it to come back in but I never even bothered to consider it because it's been a freaking decade already. Gonna have to try and track down the volumes to reread in the next four months, can't remember a single thing about the story past the first chapter but I'm excited as hell now.

Does viz still hold the license of Beet the Vandel Buster?

Honestly, it's probably expired by now but I imagine they've been aware it's coming back for some time and it would be incredibly simple to renew it. The only question is if they think it'll be worth releasing more, most of the people who bought it probably outgrew it ages ago.

Cool, finally me starting to read a series doesn't get it canceled. I'm on Volume 10 now, anyone know where the new anime is likely to start?

Unrelated, but I finally got around to reading this month's Gakumon and I'm actually amazed the author didn't save what happened for the final chapter, it really would have made a perfect ending.

The initial anime stopped half way through volume 16 and from the PV it seems the anime will be at least covering an arc from mid 19~ to mid 22. Idk if they plan on adapting the skipped volumes or all the way up to 24.

If we look resume on official site, look like new anime of D.Gray-man will be a reboot. But author said on instagram "we'll be sequel but with a new staff/cast".

It was always more popular than reborn and the fanbase really held up even during the hiatus ( Or at least I think it was, been a really long time since the last time I saw both of their sales and ToC position on the same week/issue) If im wrong feel free to correct me.

Not at all, it is extremely popular, otherwise they wouldn't bother to wait the author to be healthy again and even do all the uproar that was DGM return. I'm sure the next volume will sell more than ever.
