Is it normal for new series to have a color chapter at this stage?

Shokugeki no Soma debuted Issue 52,2012 . It had a color page in issue 10,2013 ( chapter 9 )

World trigger debuted issue 11,2013 . It had a color page in issue 19 ( chapter 9)
Hinomaru Zumou debuted issue 26, 2014 . It had a color page in issue 37/38 ,2014 ( chapter 12)
Haikyuu debuted issue #12 , it had a color page in issue 25 ( so around chapter 12/13 , 20/21 is a double issue)

So yes, new series do get early color chapter .

But you're wrong, Yuragi-sou no Yuuna did not get a color chapter for chapter 12. It's a digital color chapter.

I gotta say it.
Ghost Tits is becoming one of my favorite reads in Jump right now.
People gave it a hard time from looking at just the raws, but it's actually a really damn funny series with really charming characters and a really neat atmosphere to it.
Not surprised it's been a success so far.

Fourth 1st place rank in a row for My Hero Academia. Only One Piece had been able to do such thing (at least since 2012), which even got to six in a row... two times.

Dunno, is it neccesary for a any series to end so soon because of new addition?
Since lately there were either special chapters for series from different mag, or even from WSJ, like HQ, Sesuji or Naruto gaiden.
Besides, AC Bangaihen ended and Boruto is monthly series I presume(true with 60 pages it's like 3 series ), so at least for now there is space for one new series. Not to mention OP occasional breaks.
Nevertheless I think first to end would be Nisekoi and probably with less than 10 chapters, just to fill volume 25.

I sorta agree with you, I think It will be 1 or 9 chapter not other number:
-End next issue and the 24 volume have 10 chapter
-End in 9 chapter and have a 25 volume(Nisekoi volume have 9 chapter).

I think Nisekoi or Toriko will be transferred to Jump Giga Magazine as serialization (not to end), similar situation of Soul Catcher(S).

I wonder who's going to start series in Giga. It said there should be multiple series by both new and old artists, would be nice to see a few come back.
