Seriously. Lmao.

I just re-read the chapter, and I suggest you do, too.

Jacob demolished Natsu. In Stealth, Jacob has arguably the best Defense in the series that makes up for his lack of endurance (since he never needs it).

You know how Natsu had a shot after getting a beat-down? It was all 100% Lucy. She nullified his Stealth. Then you know who prevented transport? Happy's face.

In this fight, if anything by feats
Lucy > Natsu
Happy's face > FDKM/DF Natsu doesn't matter

Natsu alone would get curbstomped. And honestly, there's no reason Jellal would fare any differently.
Transport is a tricky thing to discuss, though, since in theory its the most hax and broken magic in the whole series. If we're just gonna claim that Jacob can use Transport on anyone he fights then he'd be literally unbeatable. Tbh I thought the whole fight between Natsu and Jacob was kinda stupid, the only reason I even brought it up was because someone else had mentioned something about it. I don't even know why I'm arguing about it lmao

So I've already posted this twice but no one responded so I'm going to post it again: I think Jellal can immobilize his opponents through GC.

During the Jellal vs OS fight, Angel says (or something similar too) "No... this is a-" and then Racer finishes by saying "A Solid Seal?". Now Racer (given the speed he's shown) should have been able to dodge GC but instead he was glued to his spot. After this I don't recall anyone moving away from Grand Chariot, including Neinhart. Maybe it's a bit shaky (not sure what the raw says, if anyone could translate I'd really appreciate it) but I think Jellal has modified his Grand Chariot so that his opponent can't escape it.

The reason this is great for Jellal is because (looking at the OS fight again), it looks like the OS were still immobilized by GC even after it was gone as, again, Racer was glued to the ground when Jellal cast Sema, something he could have at least tried to avoid. If we go by this then Jellal could immobilize Natsu through Grand Chariot and then right after use Abyys Break.

Raw: http://img.one-piece.top//img/7/3696.jpg

Feel free to tear this to pieces if it's wrong lol, just something that I thought would be worth bringing up.

First off, you do realise that Natsu was holding back in that fight right? Secondly, avoiding your opponents (Stealth) now means you have an excellent defense? Just no dude, that isn't defense, thats being a pussy and avoiding attacks. Proper defense is actually taking attacks and actually blocking them or taking them and not being too phased. When Natsu actually hit Jacob with a serious attack, Jacob was out for the count. It was essentially a one-shot as Lucy, Makarov and Natsu (who was holding back a lot) didn't do a lot to him at all.

Now this talk of Lucy and Happy is off-topic, but Lucy > Natsu and Happy > FDKM/DF Natsu? I'm sorry, but I can't take that seriously whatsoever. Dispelling his magic didn't phase him too much at all. If anything, by your logic Lucy's skimpy underwear has better feats than Lucy herself because it immobilized Jacob. Its not a good comparison to make whatsoever dude.

I don't really see how any of this relates to Natsu vs Jellal tbh, and as I've pointed out before Natsu has the better attack, defense, speed (when using DF) and stamina than Jellal, and given Jellal's defensive feats aren't too good (just look at the Neinhart battle), Natsu in FDKM or DF could well take Jellal out in a few hits like Natsu did when he used DF in the tower of heaven.

I don't know if you've already read the marvelous post of @Emperor Spriggan, but if you did you're ignoring it. I'll quote it for you.

And no, before anyone says Natsu one shotted Lessio, look closely:
All this happened before Natsu finished him off, so no, Natsu did not one shot Lessio.
Jellal will take this mid diff
Look, it's Jacob being hit 6 times before the final blow.

Now tell me, do you think Natsu could actually solo Jacob? He'll just oneshot him with Transport. Show me evidence he can't.

Fact is, Jellal can solo a Spriggan and Natsu can't.

In your previous post you said Natsu can't defeat Neinhart. Can you elaborate please?

Also even Jellal can't do anything against Jacob's transport.

Technically, almost no one can. Though, I think he is telling that Natsu did not one-shot him. Jellal ain't doing nothin' to transport.

Great post. FDKM vs Jellal is debatable and it could go anyway but telling that Tartaros DF Natsu can beat Jellal is just too much.

There is a problem though. We do not know the cast time of three dimensional seal tho... And it was not GC which immobilized them

Alright. Go ahead and back up those claims. I'm waiting. I don't know if FDKM is 2.5x, but we know that's it's powerful. It's unreasonably difficult to figure out how strong DF is in comparison to FDKM with such little information in the story.
Very well, tell me why you think FDKM is so vastly superior to base Natsu.

Base Natsu handily defeated Bluenote with a roar that cover an immense AoE. Base Natsu has access to FDKM spells with which he was capable of defeating a God of War the size of a city with ease.

FDKM Natsu proved capable of evaporating a lake and landing a very strong blow to a Spriggan. That doesn't mean FDKM Natsu can beat a Spriggan. Not even Jacob, who is one of the weak Spriggans. As a matter of fact, the moment Jacob joins his palms, Natsu automatically disappears. Or the moment Jacob begins to use stealth, Natsu is dead.

FDKM is below Spriggan level whereas DF is expected to be massively superior (to the level of August at least). That's an immense difference definetely not provided by a 0,5x.

Again, if FDKM is the earth, DF is the sky. Difference should be immense. Unless it turns out that DF Natsu is not as strong as expected, ofc.

Oh, and Natsu wasn't capable of willing DF back in Tartaros. Wendy wasn't either, and Gajeel has never been (not even in Alvarez). Emotion-triggered =/= willed. If he's learnt to access it by will like Wendy has, that we do not know.

As a matter of fact, I find it surprising you support such a claim!! Natsu only used DF when he was severely damaged and it is extremely clear he only could acces this mode because of the feelings he was experiencing at seeing Gray half dead. The moment MG entered etherious mode, he should've used DF if he could, but he just couldn't. Besides, DF ran out very quickly and he was only capable of landing one blow, because his MP was already running out, which makes me thing DF wastes an obscene amount of MP, this is why he was capable of maintaining it when it was external-factor triggered (etherion, Jellal's MP). Similarly, if he can enter it at will now, he should be able to maintain it longer since his MP has evolved significantly.

Why is everyone assuming that Natsu's DF is gonna be the Tartaros version? Current Natsu has access to DF in this tournament, he's not going to revert to his tartaros level of power if he uses it , and while it doesn't have feats, we're meant to speculate, 'cause if it's feats only, then the only attack of Jellal that can defeat a Spriggan is Grand Chariot, Sema only has feats of knocking out pre-ts OS, solid seal only has feats of holding pre-ts OS,Mirror Water doesn't have feats of reflecting an attack as powerful as an FDK spell and Jellal's only durablility feat is getting knocked out by Neinhart's casual blast.

You're rite. Tartaros Sema can only be taken into consideration(I think).
That is wut this states rite?
5. Characters
Because the plot is moving forward and certain characters are being developed, they can only be considered as they have been "shown" (pic or text) capable of in the manga, except for the few characters that we have imposed a limit on. Take a look at the spoiler a few steps down.

You obviously didn't get what I said. What I said was that Natsu's FDK attack on Jacob was essentially a one-shot, essentially being the key word. All that 'marvelous' post of Sprig's showed was a Jacob only getting hit a handful of times, and if you go back and read the fight all of those attacks did jack to him. Natsu's attacks did nothing because he was holding back, Lucy because she isn't that strong tbh and as for Makarov, if you look at the next page after he sent Jacob flying, Jacob doesn't look damaged by the punch at all. All of those attacks he showed did next to nothing to Jacob, hence why Natsu's attack on Jacob could be classified as a one-shot with him being serious and all. It dealt a huge majority of the damage to Jacob, and there's no denying it wasn't powerful. It was the same attack that destroyed the war god, except this time it was done in FDKM, meaning it was even stronger.

Now you want me to show you evidence that Natsu can't solo Jacob? Why would I do that when I'm saying he could solo Jacob? You say Jacob's transport would be a one-shot, but is there any explanation of how it actually defeats/kills people? No, there isn't. Hence why its ludicrous to say something that is featless when it comes to even damaging people (the guild members came out of it completely unscathed) could "one-shot"/kill Natsu. If Jacob didn't use Transport and fought Natsu 1v1, it'd be the same case as the time they were outside the guild. Natsu who would be serious would render Jacob unable to move with the sheer heat emanating from his body and take him out with the Flame Dragon King's Demolition Fist. Its the only serious spell Natsu has used against a Spriggan who was still exceptionally healthy in the fight before the attack, and he dropped Jacob with it, so its also ludicrous to say Natsu can't defeat a Spriggan just because he held back for most of the Jacob fight. Jellal can solo a Spriggan who had no durability feats? Big whoop. Jacob showed better durability feats than Neinhart and if Natsu's FDKM FDK Demolition Fist is just as strong as that Grand Chariot, which I'd say it is at least as strong as that, then a Spriggan like Neinhart wouldn't of been left standing either.

Jellal used his regular spells to one shot a spriggan.

Natsu used his most OP spell to take out a Spriggan.

Jellal wins. Natsu isn't capable of blocking Cema if he couldn't react to Augusts spell.

Because the Grand Chariot Jellal used was totally a regular spell when he had to spend a decent amount of time charging it up and was panting profusely after he cast it. I think its easy to see that the Grand Chariot Jellal used on Neinhert was a very serious spell, and Jellal was left wide open to a possible attack afterward, so if Neinhart wasn't taken out and could counterattack, Jellal was wide open there.

And again, we've already discussed August's spells and given you Crunchyroll's translations (which are official) which had Natsu cleary stating he negated it. There is no room for argument here, Natsu negated it and thats the end of the story, and as I've already pointed out in previous posts Natsu could stop and destroy Sema with a Roar, FDK Roar or FDK's Demolition Fist.

Natsu has no defence from where you get that ? it's just your assumpations, stop underestimating Natsu
What are you . . . even saying? LOL.

By defense, I'm obviously talking about a counter. Like Marin's spatial-magic nullification. I've never seen such a lopsided view. They AREN'T assumptions. Unlike you and your "very contributive" one-liners, I've solidly shown why Natsu cannot defeat Jacob. I even spared your ego by saying he's stronger than Jacob in terms of strength. Now let's move on.

OH MY GOSH SAM DID YOU READ MY POST?

I KNOW Natsu was holding back. But if Natsu can't HIT Jacob how is he going to WIN? It is definitely 100% completely being a complete "pussy" as you word it, but that doesn't change the fact that neither Natsu nor Jellal nor anyone non-god tier or hax-tier (aside from Lucy & Marin) can do anything about it.

I was being sarcastic lol. I'm just saying, without Lucy's help (nullifying stealth) and Happy (blocking transport), Natsu cannot overcome such a hax magic until he achieves mach speed like Acnologia.

Yeah I have no idea how we got here either.
Actually,Jellal won't be as handicapped as Lessio as you think...considering the fact that he destroyed his own eyes against Midnight, then proceeded to cast Grand Chariot and Sema with pin point accuracy,it's pretty obvious that he can fight Lessio pretty well..
When Simon was used as a Historia by NeinHart, the first thing he did was use Dark Moment, something that completely robs vision, but Jellal was able to still see through it..
I'd think Invisibility won't trouble my boy that much;)
Nah, Jellal can't defeat things like stealth, transport, and age seal. We're just pushing it too far now lmao

It doesn't matter A THING if he took a 'small amount of damage' because he actually TOOK damage. So it's nothing more than A FACT that IT WASN'T AN ONESHOT.

I just need to take a break for now.

Chill man, no need to get so frustrated at my sound logic ;)

Now to put this off-topic Jacob stuff to bed, Natsu against Jacob could beat him 1v1. If we're dead serious straight from the go, Natsu could go DF and simply blitz Jacob before he can use his haxy little transport akin what he did to Mard Geer in Tartarus. Jacob is using Stealth to avoid Natsu? Thats easily dealt with, Natsu's body heat is hot enough that its been shown to cause Jacob incredible discomfort, with Jacob screaming "It burns!" previously, so Jacob is unable to move. The same heat could also melt Jacob's weapons (like when he melted the knife that would've hit Lucy right when he emerged from his slumber). And if Jacob is at a distance where the heat doesn't effect him? Well Jacob has no spells that can effect Natsu from a long range away, and Natsu could probably just drop a FDK Roar and that might hit Jacob. It's a bit of an unpredictable one, but the possibility is there. Either way, without Transport actually being proven to even be able to damage someone, let alone kill them, Jacob from what he has shown has no actual way to kill, let alone defeat Natsu.

But to put this in context to Jellal vs Natsu, if Jellal had of faced Natsu, what could've he had done. Jacob might be more effective with his weapons against Jelly bean, but apart from that its the same case as Natsu vs Jacob. The best Jellal can do is either tear around with Meteor and hope to hit him or drop Sema/Grand Chariot and pray it hits Jacob to get him out of stealth.

It doesn't matter A THING if he took a 'small amount of damage' because he actually TOOK damage. So it's nothing more than A FACT that IT WASN'T AN ONESHOT.

I just need to take a break for now.
Just like how God Serena being the #1 Wizard Saint meant he was the strongest mage in Ishgal is a fact when Acnologia (a mage from ishgal) Igneel'd him? I'm still saying Natsu's FDKM FDK Demolition Fist is akin to a oneshot due to how little damage Jacob had taken beforehand. Even if it isn't a proper one-shot, there's nothing saying if Natsu used that straight off the bat that Jacob would've still been standing. He was more than out for the count after the spell, burnt and everything. I really don't think an extra-crispy Jacob would have any fight in him after that.

Well if we're assuming that their speeds with Chariot and DF are enough, then yes Natsu & Jellal can defeat Jacob. But that gives us nothing helpful. So yes, good argument, I like it.

Natsu would need to stop in place and fire that roar. Jellal would literally attack him then. Natsu has a choice, stop Cema but have Jellal kill him or stop Jellal and be flatten by Cema.

Just because crunchy roll is an famous anime website, doesn't mean it's correct translations. When over 9 manga sites say he negated some of it, I trust that then crunchy roll.

And GC is a basic spell, it's similar to Natsus iron fist of the fire dragon. And Jellal has AOE advantage. GC would halt Natsu, then he'll cast Cema. Natsu shoots a roar at the blast, destroys Cema. But wait, Jellal pins Natsu against the way and blast his face with energy.

I know Natsu is going to win this voting rank because he won against Gildarts. When Gildarts would blitz Natsu but that's besides the point. The point is even if Natsu wins, it doesn't stop facts. Jellal is way faster, and Natsu hasn't shown any speed feats this arc.

Jellal would melt Natsu.
