The news is either FT is close to ending, info about the movie, or info about a new anime season. I personally think it's about the movie (Natsu is still wearing those bandages on that poster just like in the movie) but if FT is ending soon, I'd say we still have another fifty chapters left at least. I am betting that the news is related to the Alvarez Arc series from one of the other posters that shows all the Spriggan 12, Zeref and FT facing off.
Perhaps it is about the arc ending on chapter 500. And the next arc will pick up from where it left off.

The english version of vol55 is out, and a change that's approved by Kodansha after being proofread is that:
So stream was always right from the jump. In case you're wondering why crunchy and then stream used "Bradman" was because "brad", I believe, in some other language means "blood". Japanese is tough to translate in english or any western language, I mean just look at the romaji for it: ブラッドマン Buraddoman, hard to fault them for using "brad" when me or you can see why they used it. But I'm guessing when an "ur" is together in Japanese it's translates into an "L" cause there's no L in the Japanese language. So yeah just giving people a head-ups, the wiki is currently in the midst of changing it so scalantors and translators will catch up soon after, hopefully before the anime comes back. I'll start saying Bloodman to familiarize people with it, it was the more dope name anyway

I feels like I'm nowhere near deserving to be on the same line as the others two Lol . What I provide and what they provide is nowhere near the same

My 30 second translation Lol..... might need to wait a bits longer for the on point translator . All in all this is just mashima giving his outlook on neinhart magic and he said that his magic is not necessarily " revived dead people back to alive " it was something else . Its mostly about neinhard magic and a mention of the resurrection of natsu .

Quick summary of Mashima sensei's afterwords in volume 56 (mostly about the south battlefield and Jacob's fight):
@Gabo sorry for super late reply. I think it's just a resume of previous chapters and what's recently going on.
- Age Seal, Zen'in Shoumetsu/Total Annihilation (I am not sure. Wall's magic perhaps?), and Historia of the Dead are "cheat" magic.
- This time, there is one of Spriggan 12 that uses this "cheat" magic which has nature "toying with a wizard's heart/feeling/emotion".
- Sensei wrote it so carefully when he brought "those who're supposed to be dead and resurrected" back.
- Simon and Ul's scenes were mostly about emotional moment.
- When drawing Jacob, sensei admitted that he was inspired by his favorite actor (I believe it's Jason Statham). Jacob was so much potential. However, his prime fight was coincidentally together with Natsu's return (after he collapsed due to cancer thing), so he ended up being a disappointing character.

The Jacob stuff is interesting lowkey, Hiro even knows he was kinda lame and wasted, but that's what plot does to people.. it's tough for shonens so I understand it plus making 12 op villains ain't as easy as it sounds. Kishi probably went through the same things making the Atasuki but he had foreshadowed them much longer in advance then the S12 were so I credit Hiro's work ethic on that. Him being inspired by Jason Statham isn't surprising at all, he literally looks like dude. Good movies too.
Age Seal and Historia of the Dead are deff cheat magics, something you can make a case for them being the most op magics in FT. It'll be interesting to see how the plot will not let Dimaria go about using Age Seal, cause we all know if she uses it she can literally murk everyone.
I ain't like Simon coming back at first but it really was needed and it was greatly well done. Ur's was better imo but both were dope, it gave alot of glo up scenes to people who needed them like Lyon, Kagura

More name changes after discussion and going through the english volume formats from vol54:
Wahl Icht -----> Wall Eehto
This one was sorta complicated but to explain why the late change: the users of the wiki (some who are German) noted that "Waru Ihito" (the romaji spelling of Wall's name) was German based, which made his first name more geared towards Wahl then Wall. However on further review, that was speculation cause it was never stated by Hiro or noted, plus 'ru' 'ur' can also be a "L" in Japanese. I like both but Wall sounds cool to me too so not a big deal, this just came down to preference. "Icht" came from his last name's kanji resembling letters from "Precht"'s kanji, is to why the wiki thought Icht would of been his surname. However after reading the trivia that his name is supposed to mean "bad person" in Japanese, as his name is supposed to be a pun, it started to make more and more sense about changing his name to the volume format, which is the correct one. In english, the pun of his name is supposed to be geared towards the comparison of "Vill Ain" or "villain". So it made sense why his name looks goofy cause it's supposed to be goofy since it's a pun. Sorry for the late change, the fandom is already used to calling him Wahl and so is stream but yeah I'll try to familiarize people with this again. The anime hard subs tags should use Wall Eehto when the anime returns so it'll be moot by then, if possible if someone can talk to a stream translator about this update, that would be helpful
