Darn, I tried watching it twice and I fell asleep midway into the movie on both ocassions.
It's not even funny, it's plain dull.
I doubt I can stay awake watching that movie even if I cut my lips and pour peroxide on it.

Anyone remembered one of Chuck Noriss' masterpiece, Delta Force? Man, i can't believe anyone wanna spend a lot of money just to make a bad movie. They could've use it to give out scholarship to film students, so that someday they'll become great movie makers, instead of spending the money on some bad flicks about Chuck Norris being a badass on a bike with rocket launchers.

spiderman is unique...great cast, great script, great director....the only part i didn't like with spidey 3 was the american flag scene....god that was soooo cheesy!!!!

And I don't think faithfully following comics to make a movie is a good idea, it just ain't on the creative side. If I were the director (or scriptwriter), I wouldn't agree to that but maybe it's just me.

just saw fantastic 4: ROtSS. it was entartaining to some extent.....definately not any beter than spidey though....i'd give it a 5.5 out of a possible 10....
iv'e also just watched Black Snake Moan. it's pretty good past it's semi-preachy overtones, and it has a nice oldschool film feel to it. the dialogue was quite funny at times, and the acting was pretty good (as expected from samuel l jackson and christina ricci). i'd give it a 7.8 out of a possible 10

ok time for another week thing.
this week ive mostly seen golden oldies. been watching a lot of movies but only one new. and we'll start with that one:
Dear Wendy
A very weird movie. its not bad just very weird, it has a very sombre tone through the entire movie and its very peotic. but its not a movie for everyone. i recommend it if you watch a lot outside of hollywood movies.
X-men Trilogy
Good, better, worst. I like the first one it has a nice tempo but it doesnt really deliver as heavily as i want it to. Second is my favourite. More mutants no explanations and most important, a pissed off Wolverine. Third, well its ok.
not brilliant but ok. they dont really convey exactly how powerful the Phoenix is so the threat doesnt seem that awful.
Crocodile Dundee I & II
two movies made long before movies became nothing more than special effects. Both films are still extremly entertaining. well written characters, maybe not the best scripts in the world but you feel for the people in the movie. so thumbs up from me.
Karate Kid I, II & III
Wax on, wax off. 3 words that became legend.
but lets be frank, the movies sucks
Pat Morita is the only thing worth mentioning in his Yoda like sensei role as Mister Miyagi. brilliant performance, and dont forget: a man that can catch fly with chopsticks can do anything!
The Green Mile
One out of two Stephen King books that actually became great movies.
brilliant script, extremly well directed and great performances from the actors. a very good movie. watch it if you havent.
The Rock
good sensible action with a little bit of message tucked in it. great musical score, funny dialogues, cool carchases, alcatraz and much more.
this is how an action movie should be.

Sean Connery is greatness in a box.
Frequency
Time travel has always been a fascination but this movie does something a little different. what if you could talk to a person you love thats been dead for 30 years? due to an abnormality caused by aurora borealis. a guy manages to send a radio transmition to his father 30 years in the past.
i like the movie, its about family and mostly father-son relationships.
rent it, watch it
