Team FT Classic S-Class Mages vs New S-Class Mages

It's the new S-Class trial. Showdown between the official S-Class mages of FT, against the ambitious generation who has their eyes set on obtaining the rank of S-Class.

Gildarts, Laxus, Erza and Mira vs Natsu, Gray, Gajeel and Lucy

All characters are in-character and performing at the peak of their strength shown so far.

Scenario 1: Fairy Law is banned.

Scenario 2: Fairy Law can work. However do take into account the time required to set it up amidst battle.

if its current then its like this
Round 1:
Laxus > Natsu (low - mid diff)
Gildarts > Gray (low - mid diff)
Mirajane < Gajeel (high diff)
Erza < Lucy (low diff because of Marin)

Round 2:
Gildarts, Erza and Mirajane hold off everyone while Laxus casts Fairy Law and one shots everyone.

if its pre skip then Gildarts solos.

Honestly I'd put FDKM Natsu right up there on the same level as Laxus and Gildarts, but unless Gajeel gets DF and Lucy gets CSK those two are gonna be the weak links here. Make it just Laxus and Gildarts vs Natsu and Gray and we'd have a fairer fight on our hands but there's no way in hell Lucy and Base Gajeel are beating Mirajane and Erza.

Classic S-Class mid-diffs first scenario, maybe low-diffs the second.

Reasons why Team Slayers wins is because Gildarts is featless and Natsu fodderized (Dimaria.Jacob and Neinhart) Laxus and Darkness/Gray is probably egual but Gray is Main character so Gray---->Laxus...

Lucy Erza and Mirajane is essentially fodders against High-tier Spriggans (Natsu.Gray.Laxus)

Well on the other team, I'd say it's basically Natsu who has a shot. Gray so far beat a spriggan but his elemental slayer magic did play a role and then he could hold his own against END, but END is a demon and Gray has slayer magic for precisely that. In both scenarios though, the classic S-class take it mid diff (if END isn't involved) and high-diff if END is

Right now I think Gildarts > Laxus > Natsu=Gray > Gajeel > Erza >= Mirajane > Lucy
So first scenario Gildarts and Laxus take care of Natsu an gray mid diff, Erza stall Gajeel ( Because she is more durable than Mirajane)Mirajane takes care of Lucy easily and who ever finishes first helps Erza

2nd scenario they just have to protect Laxus for 3 seconds,they do as before but Gildarts take on Natsu and Gray (I think for 3 seconds he can do it ) and imo fairy law takes them all down because
1) Laxus >them individually
2) only 4 targets

More than likely it end with the new generation win.

Natsu vs Laxus: Natsu would simply eat Laxus magic and powerup thus oneshotting him. Not much f a competition here.

Lucy vs Erza: Lucy low diff with Marin thus trapping Erza in a different space outside of battle.

Gray vs Mirajane: Gray one shots with his DeS magic which could have a huge advantage over Mirajane's takeovers. Not much competition here.

Gildarts is the only problem and even then a full powered FDKM Natsu could mid-high diff him.

100% Depends on how the battle is written. What character uses what. What PIS or CIS is going on. Etc.

Erza has greater achievement as resistance, speed even without his armor.

Now this is what I call a good match.

Scenario 1

In my opinion, the the New S-Class wins this one...

• Gildarts + Laxus + Erza + Mirajane < Natsu + Gray + Gajeel + Lucy [Extreme Difficulty]

Here is how I see it. Natsu + Gray will fight Gildarts. As I mentioned before, I think Laxus and DF Gajeel are around the same level; therefore, they will cancel out. That leaves Erza and Mirajane left. Lucy can summon CSK which will help a great deal while Gray or Natsu can support her (if they survive).

Scenario 2

Now, I think the Classic S-Class will win...

• Gildarts + Laxus + Erza + Mirajane > Natsu + Gray + Gajeel + Lucy [High-Extreme Difficulty]

Fairy Law is just too overpowered... Anyways, I think Laxus has enough time to cast Fairy Law while his team holds them off. Once again, Gildarts can fight Natsu + Gray. In the meantime, Erza + Mirajane should be able to hold off Gajeel + Lucy. As a result, Laxus should be able to win by activating Fairy Law.

I'm doing both scenarios the same. FL won't be used.

Laxus is likely the strongest here, and would take out Natsu. But the result would be bad for Laxus as well, he'd nearly be finished. Gildarts can probably beat Gray, but I think the latter can push the old man to high diff. DF Gajeel is underrated to me, probably the best brawler here. He would defeat Erza. Mira would beat Lucy in a tough match. Since the classics win 3-1, I'm giving them the victory.

Gildarts only feat so far is Defeating Historia God Serena( Historai God Serena needs to be stronger than Dimaria.Jacob.or Neinart) then i can say Gildarts defeating God Serena is more impressive than Natsu one-shotting Neinhart and Dimaria...
