I think MHA's future is the brightest among newer long-running shonens. Soma is ok to me and still haven't tried Haikuryu but I do think I'll watch the anime for that one first, I like anime over manga when beginning a series
35,568 votes which was 4 times more than the previous one (8225) and the problem with online polls is that they're a lot more exploitable since Japan is terrible at locking web servers or blocking IPs to prevent spamming from happening.
If they are not willing to let the link between the poll and the magazine end, they can put a QR Code or unique number on the magazine to ensure that only people if a magazine can vote, or something... It is less of a hassle than send everything by mail.
though from what I've read of the other series it's a lot more... knowledgeable about dancing compared to Dance Club which tends to skip the in depth stuff in favour of showing whatever crazy twists the characters put on their dancing to stand out more, so they're quite a different in style

I have been following the discussion from the previous page but choose not to comment since a certain someone thinks his opinions are facts and people like that are annoying to argue with but now that he's declaring that his opinions are facts (he literally f***ing wrote it) I have to comment and I can't believe I've to say this to a group of adults but: opinions=/=facts
jump publish irrelevant magazines? that's your opinion not a fact
everything in jump is bad except 3 manga? that's your opinion not a fact
ballroom is better than dancing bu? that's your opinion not a fact
jump is failing miserably in building their next generation? that's your opinion not a fact
old manga is better that is why they sell better than the not as good new manga? that's you opinion not a fact

Manga is a niche product from the phonographic industry. It exists to entertain, yes, but if it does not sell, it means jack.
1 - It's indeed my opinion that jump minor magazines are irrelevant, it's also a fact since they are cancelled with less than a year of publication. You don't need to be an expert in manga to understand that.
2 - Again, i said "bad". Not the story, or art, or pace, or anything... They just don't sell as good as the 3 beforementioned and older manga.
3 - Do you actually read the thing?
4 - It's obviously failling... Look how well the new series are selling (if they are not canceled already) in comparison with the older ones that just finished... Don't make yourself blind... Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is the proof of that.
5 - Maybe to you or some people they are not better, but the majority of people agrees with that. Hell, look the sequels and reprints, Boruto (for example and in comparison with Naruto) is just insanely bad (and a movie adaptation) and it still sells a lot more than your loved saiki or other "new" manga... If it doesn't sell, it won't matter or survive in JUMP. And you know that...
All of this are not only my opinions... They are all facts...
Yeah it won't... Neverland is nice, but I can't see it becoming a new "death note" or something... I hope it does good though

measuring the whether a manga is good or bad by how much it sells is f***ed up especially when you're some dude that lives on the other side of the planet not a shuiesha's shareholder
1- nothing you said change the fact that this is your opinion, we don't know why are they publishing these magazine or their end goal, so we can't judge whether it a success or a failure
2- "no money = bad manga"
3- What part of art is subjective you don't understand?

I'm gonna watch this one because I like to watch animes from series that have sports, music or dance theme. They have the potential to use animation that its fullest with movement and soundtrack, things manga doesn't have.
1 - It does not matter their goals... The magazines are being cancelled. The only way they are achieving it is if the magazines are made to be canceled. lol.
2 - No money = cancelled manga in jump
3 - Again, did you read it? How can you comment if you don't read both?
4 - No money = cancelled manga in jump
5 - No money = cancelled manga in jump
You're arguing with someone that loves manga, but does not let it mess with your head...

People took for granted the presence of series that sell millions in Jump and think now that it is common, but it is not.
A success like Naruto is not found on the corner of the streets.

Any news related to the studio behind it? I hope the soundtrack will be good...
How does this "No money = cancelled manga in jump" make sense? Love Rush got cancelled months before it's first volume came out. It didn't even have a chance to make money and was still cancelled.
With less than 30k sales i don't think Hinomaru Zumo makes big money, but it's still running for over 2 years.

1- WTF? their goal doesn't matter? do you even know what a mission statement is?
2- oh yes that's how kochikame lasted for 40 years, cuz money is everything
3- ART IS SUBJECTIVE period
read number 2 for 4 and 5

A success like Naruto is not found on the corner of the streets.
And I also think we have to stop seeing Shonen Jump like it was the Shonen Jump from ten years ago. That will not happen again. Most of the series that sold millions were old series of the 1990s or the beginning of the 2000s (context). A different time, without the excess of information and the competitiveness that the internet has brought. Other series that came close to that, such as AC, are rare, phenomena that pop up once every decade (timing), even Matsui was surprised by the success. Haikyuu!!, which is now the most successful "rookie" title, has something that MHA, Soma and Toriko doesn't have: immense female audience (appeal). And Boruto is a spin-off, made by another artist, so it's normal to sell less. And no, I don't think that Neverland will become a mega-hit because, apart from the plot, I don't see any other appeal for the big audience. But this is just speculation, since I don't know how the context will be when the anime comes out.

Indeed. But it's not only Naruto... And here we go with more facts...
These are ALL shonen jump manga (maybe with the exception of D. Gray Man, Kinikkuman, Jojo and others since they moved to another magazine(s) ) that sold MORE than 20 million copies since the 70s:
70~ Kochikame, Kinnikuman,
80~ Dr. Slump, Dragon Ball, Jojo, Hokuto no Ken, Captain Tsubasa, Rokudenashi Blues, Dragon Quest, Saint Seiya, Sakigake!! Otokojuku, Kimagure Orange Road
90~ City Hunter, Yuyu Hakusho, One Piece, Naruto, Hxh, Slam Dunk, Rurouni Kenshin, Prince of Tennis, Rookies, Yugioh, Shaman King, Hikaru no Go, Jigoku Sensei Nube
2000~ Bleach, Gintama, Death Note, Kuroko no Basket, Reborn, D. Gray Man*, Toriko, Eyeshield 21,
2010~ Ansatsu Kyoushitsu
See my point now?
Also, the difference between the beginning of a serialization of one of this and the end of others are rather small... But look now, Ansatsu is from 2012... And we're 5 years from that now...
