Well she is a dragon and we saw what happened to Zeref with Infinite Magic
No matter how you slice it, for me being a Dragon gives her the upper edge in this fight and is enough for her to win it.

All hail to the Magic King. Jellal could fought dragon Achno and evade attacks. Now we have meteor August who is far stronger than Jellal and we have Irene who does not have magic immunity. August wins normal diff.

if August knows DS magic then he MIGHT win but he also needs to surpass Erza' Nakama which is impossible.

I'm wondering what exactly meteor is meant to do when Dragon Irene, who also uses True Heavenly Body Magic, is dropping meteors from space. Does he have a nakama sword too?

But you are talking about a situation where August shrinks himself.We have already seen without DS Magic defeating a Dragon is virtually impossible.And in the past Dragons nearly brought human civilisation to extinction.Why didn't human mages shrink themselves and do the same?

And Irene was very fast to suddenly dodge Acnologia's explosion which erupted just below her.

Well Jellal was able to come from nowhere and block Acno's attack and August no diffed Jellal.

And we also saw when Acnologia when he got serious caught hold of Jellal easily.He plays around.Like with Makarov in Tenrou.

And he was also playing around against Irene, and yet you still use her feats against him

Does anyone know what page that it was stated that only dragon slayer magic can harm dragons? The characters were weak as hell in Tenrou and GMG so I can't consider the showings of non dragon slayers against dragons to be sufficient evidence.

Different situation.No doubt Acnologia was holding back against Irene but if you suddenly inflict a massive explosion below one's feet you need good reflexes and speed to dodge it.


And Jellal suddenly appeared there.Acno didn't even notice him.


And defeating a Dragon while shrinking yourself is impossible.As was in the past as in the present.


And don't forget August injured by Cana's cards and probably Gildarts's Haja-Kensei Zetten.I wonder what will a slash of a real Dragon do.

well, not stunned only moved him for an inch but that was off guard.

August wins, pretty obvious. Unless August is considered inferior to Erza and Wendy combined.
Irene was affected by a lot of PiS in herfight, but so was August, and in the end, August can use DS magic and is definitely way stronger than what Erza with broken bones can produce to defeat Irene's Dragon form.
I don't see any way Irene can win to August if the latter can use DS magic, which i believe he can.
So August wins.
