It's not a power scaling thread. This is a power rate that is hosted by a few of the members here, whereby people have already submitted their power ranks and what we're seeing now are the results. Although several topics that arise in power scaling are applicable here, other aspects such as character treatment and portrayal are also viable. This is because of the nature of this thread - it's meant to be fun and involving rather than argumentative.

If what you're seeking is purely a discussion about FT power scaling that isn't directly associated with this thread, there is the Alvarez Arc Power Ranking Thread.

This isn't a power scaling thread, this is a rate based on people's power rankings. It's not the same as discussing "X vs Y" which is derived solely from the manga - although that is applicable as I mentioned. The main difference is that this thread is about the people's scores who participated in the rate.

This isn't the first thread like this as well. We're not going to derail this any further, so please understand this is supposed to be a bit of fun...

Go back and read the chapter again where Brandish enlarged Natsu' tumor without physically touching it. Go back and see her level an island extra casually.

Brandish can solo the entire FT guild if she was bloodlusted. She can shrink Natsu' attacks, and amplify it hundreds of times back at him.

Brandish, however, cannot solo the entire FT guild even if she is bloodlusted. The two times she was legitimately pissed, was after finding out Lucy's identity in the bathroom, and trying to strangle Lucy in the cell after deceiving her to undo her handcuffs.

Both times, her desire to exact revenge for her mother's death was thwarted, and her intended target in Lucy remained unscathed. And Brandish has never shown the ability to enlarge her target's organs to the point they combust. That was a little nugget which Dimaria threw out, and since then, some fans of Brandish seemingly lapped it up and take it as the gospel.

Can she potentially do such a thing? Mest, she can. Has she ever been shown actually accomplishing so? No, she hasn't. I think we ought to take a step back, to allow a better look at the picture. Feats are in the form of actions executed, which leads to a cause-and-effect.

I remember clearly, Brandish getting knocked out by a chop to her back. This was not done for comedic effects as it happened in the middle of a war, shortly after she found out Lucy's identity and gave Brandish an impetus to fight.

She was also done in by an apparent deep slash to her abdomen from Dimaria's knife. Such degree of wound will be fatal for an ordinary human. However, it is the same gravity of injury which Gray endured until he beat Lyon on Galuna island. Which Gajeel suffered on Tenrou island and continued fighting.

Shrinking and amplifying Natsu's attacks hundred of times is also not a feat which she has shown to be capable of. Because she can shrink and enlarge a tumour in his body, does not equate to her doing the same to an attack from Natsu fuelled by his dynamic energy and magic power. We know she can do so to a fighter of Lucy's calibre. Who is accepted to be a league or two below Brandish herself. But when she tried doing so to Neinhart and his whirlwind, it failed to have an effect. So there is at least a clear limitation to her ability in that regard.

I can take the perspective that Brandish can be a dangerous foe when she feels like it. And whom I am sure everyone would rather have on their side in a battle, rather than against them. Her temperamental attitude, inconsistent fighting spirit and poor durability doesn't instill me with the confidence to rely on her as someone who can dig deep to pull out an undisputable victory when the going gets tough.

And agreed,GS shouldn't make it any further then No.10 or No.9 imo. as well,if anything he should've dropped out before even making it to the Top 10 for me, i mean Neinhart or Bloodman were more impressive for me then him or even Brandish was smh.

9)Erza(she should've been out for a while ago)
8)Gray(Fought against END Natsu)
7)God Serena(A very powerful foe, although weaker than the top 3 spriggans).
6)Laxus(definetly very strong, even if slighly overhyped on this forum)
5)Larcade(A strong and haxy enemy, worthy of being in the top 3 Spriggans).
4)Jellal(His showcasing against Acno boosted him above Laxus in my opinion)
3)Gildarts(a very strong mage, very close to number 2)
2)Irene(Even without her Dragon Transformation, she should be the top wizard here. Though Gildarts is somewhere on par)

I doubt jellal should be 2 places higher than laxus, they were always near to each other in power ranking. Also dimaria should be higher, and irene and gildarts hould be top 2 ahead of natsu.

That was a gag moment.

I guess Goku who is mutiversal (1000+ universal) is only bullet level cause he got hurt by a bullet. Oh and Saitama is only cat level because he got scratched by a cat.

Brandish took Lucys water attack, then fucking blew it back by multiplying its power.

Just because a character hasn't shown to do something doesn't me they can't. Goku in the universe 6 arc only broke a few tiles, is he now tile level in ssj blue kio ken x10?

Brandish expanded Natsu' tumor and Dimaria even stated she could've ended the fight by blowing them up from the inside.

You fail to realize this power she has and just continue to downplay this character.

Neinhart is more impressive than a guy who can eat 99.99999% of the spells written in this story and physically stronger than the main cast.

I think gray has better non PIS feats than her, erza outright lost to ajeel and would have died if not bisca. So I am not sure about her ranking
But, yeah erza is bae indeed.
