Gruvia is more developed than Gajevy?
Gajevys prolly the most developed ship in the manga tbh while Gray has barely shown any romantic feelings to Juvia till the last chap but sure

Even though I'm not a shipper if there is one ship in Fairy Tail I would ship it would be Gale because of their how developed they, their bond, the fan art, and their twins were seen in a light novel. Speaking of Gajeel/Levy's twins if Fairy Tail does get a continuation I would like to see a chapter with the twins being born though I would like continuation be written by someone else which Mashima has no problem with doing since it the volume 63 afterword Mashima said if anyone wants to expend Fairy Tail he'll give them his full support.

Care to explain me what kind of romantic development gajeel got for levy, he was pretty much as oblivious as natsu was towards lucy. Lol gajevy wasn't even main ship like gruvia was. Dring tartaros arc levy shared CPR with him and he just thanked him whereas juvia during her fight with that neromancer demon , silver told her to take care of gray. The entire END vs demonised gray sheninagan was for there baes too you know. Besides gray was more smarter than gajeel in matters of complementing the ladies. Out of 4 main ships gruvia was definitely more developed ship of all the main ships. Gajevy only get credit because it was ship comprising MC.

I guess that you forgot that Gajeel confessed to Levy, that their twins were in a light novel/manga, and Levy is pregnant in the last chapter. Also are you salty because Nalu is out early or you don't like how this raking is going as of right now?

What has Grays dead dad telling her that got to do with 'Gruvia' lol,he literally has never seen them together so doesnt prove anything about the ship

I felt it was too stalkerish at the beginning, then it kind of grew on me…

Perpetually one-sided since the introduction we got to Juvia.

Juvia is mine

Too one sided for most the time and Juvia was underdeveloped bcs of the the relationship.

Started out as comic relief/ borderline creepy, but in Tartaros with the Silver stuff, damn. That's probably the best development any ship has ever gotten.

A pretty cute couple. I've always liked Juvia's psycho attitude towards Gray. Gray though, come on man, give her something at least.

Gray and Juvia, or GrUvia is my second favorite ship in the story after ZerVis. Though, unlike ZerVis, I wasn't a fan of these two from the beginning. It's a bit like @Lenny says, the ship had really, REALLY rough beginnings, both in the manga and on me:

They started out as enemies on both sides of warring guilds, but at the end of their fight something happened to Juvia for the first time. Her world which had only known rain before:

Finally became sunny:

Gray was the first person who stopped the rain in Juvia's world, and I really do think this is what a hand in having her become so attached to him. And, yes, this is where the stalking began This is probably the visible downside to the ship:

Of course, this behaviour did seem repulsive and a little off to Gray in the beginning, and he did his best to try and avoid Juvia in her stalking antics.Though, that obviously didn't last long, since he soon managed to warm up to her in Tenrou Island when Ultear tried to kill her:

And in the Grand Magic Games, on the last day they were on the same team together:

And did a really beautiful Unison Raid together against Lyon and Sherria:

Now, one thing GrUvia has going for it that other ships don't have are the wonderful Unison Raids. These two have the most compatible magic out of all the couples in the story, and as such get the best Unison Raids in the series. This is non debatable. Think I'm tripping?

So yes, these are the best Unison Raids in the series Fast forward to Tartaros after the events of the Grand Magic Games, and now THIS is the arc where GruVia evolved into something shattering. Ironically enough, it was the one arc where Gray also got large focus as a character. So we started from this:

To Juvia being forced to kill Silver, Gray's own father with her own hands. She achieved this by killing Keyes, the necromancer who had revived Silver and put him under his control. Ironically enough, throughout the whole fight, Keyes had taunted Juvia asking her whether or not she could go through with an act like that:

An act that she immediately regretted afterwards:

But Silver told her to take care of his son and left him in her hands.Which is why after the events of the arc were over, Juvia went to talk to Gray at Silver's grave. The result?

And Juvia is such an amazing person because she is just so selfless. She knows all too well how important Silver is to Gray, and how devastating it is for him to lose his father a second time, yet she is willing to risk the chance of making Gray hate her. She loves him too much to hide the truth from him. Because of her actions, she feels undeserving of his love. She tells him she doesn’t have the right to love him. Her selflessness makes her willing to carry the guilt and give up on the most important thing on her life—her love for Gray—in order to do the right thing.
So Gray starts crying. And as he falls to his knees, bringing her down with him, he apologizes. Not once, not twice, but three times. The stoic, cold and proud Gray Fullbuster who always shuts himself off allows Juvia to see him at his most fragile state, and he thanks her and apologizes to her. He is completely bare in front of her, and for the first time it isn’t due to his stripping habit. Gray understands the burden Juvia chose to carry because of him, and apologies just pour from his mouth. He doesn’t do that to just anybody—he denied he was crying in the Galuna Island when Happy pointed that out, and even when fighting Silver he tried to keep his emotions at bay—so having him let Juvia see him like that, and having him thank her and apologize to her that much is huge.
This is why this is the best GruVia moment for me. And the moment I realized that Juvia's feelings weren't exactly a joke. They were real, because giving up what you feel for someone to see them happy? That's love right there:

Then we go to Avatar, where we learn that these two had lived together for 6 months after the guild was disbanded. But of course Gray had to pull a Sasuke and leave Juvia by her lonesome :

Which of course was explained later on, and Gray did promise to explain things to Juvia, but he didn't. The idiot, Avatar was a pretty messy arc on GruVia, but this wasn't all gloom and doom for them. We did get this after all :

Then we have this from the latest arc:

Gruvia is pretty much cannon after chapter 499 with himself sacrifice himself he'd rather kill himself and fight Juvia and it's the same other way around Juvia did the same the whole chapter basically confirmed Gruvia since Gray said he will take Juvia's feelings seriously for now on so yay!​
