The 4th it was officially released. Oricon only counts the period from Febuary 1-7th and MHA was relessed on the 4th so only four days are weighed.

I got the wrong release date from MHA's wikia, thanks for clarification.

I am taking into account the total sales in the week that came out volume 7 of each serie, easy to understand.

Why the hell would you compared the amount of volumes sales to a boost in conjuncture to a single volume release in the same time period? Its even more embarrassing when people were comparing their sales for their respective 7th volume.

We could talk about how in 10 chapters One Piece will reach the 900 mark, how in 15 chapters Haikyuu will reach the 300 mark, how in 7 chapters Kimetsu will reach the 100 mark and how in 24 chapters Black Clover will have the same amount of chapters as World Trigger although Black Clover started 2 years after World Trigger.

Black Clover is slowly growing. With the anime picking up the pace and getting into the action heavy arcs that follow I think it'll keep growing right until the end of the anime.

Seems like the plan with these long adaptations is to have a small but continuous growth rather than an explosion in popularity right away.

I mean, we can conclude that TPN and MHA are very close to each other in terms of sales during the same point in their timeline. So, if we feel TPN can surpass MHA after an anime boost, we can only confirm it AFTER the anime airs. Some thought BC's boost would be massive but it was below average at best. TPN could be like BC or MHA or be the next big million seller. We don't know.
Also, keep in mind that MHA's best fight/encounter is yet to come in the anime. There is another possibility of a boost for MHA like what happened with season 2.
You can never know fully how a series might get boosted or by how much. So stop fighting. None of you are right.

Next month will have Tezuka Nomination List and it will interesting to see if any Jump series make the list.

The last one with 2 Jump Titles on it were Assassination Classroom and Naruto 3 years ago.

It's already beating Soma pre anime sales though, or at least close to given that it's only on its 1st year.

These numbers are Soma 2nd years Sale (2,644,122 total in 2014).

Surprised when i look at this, it always thought pre anime Soma is only 250k~300k. Not bad not bad.

I do keep seeing people say TPN got a lot of push and MHA didn't. I always thought MHA was pretty well promoted but I could be wrong. Sure not as much as BC but MHA did get promoted a lot. Again, I could be wrong.
